Villa 103 - Drift On Inn

Drift on Inn to this gorgeous oceanfront Villa. There are beautiful unobstructed views from both balconies in the open living dining kitchen area and the king-size upstairs room. The cooks of the family will appreciate seeing the waves while doing the dishes!
This unit has hardwood floors on the main level that has a queen suite with a full bath and step-in shower.
The Villa comes with all the comforts of home; books, games, and a fully functioning kitchen with a welcoming gathering area. The entire Villa has been upgraded and renovated.
There is an upstairs twin room, a shared bathroom with a tub, and the king bedroom has a sink plus private coffee and tea service for your morning dolphin viewing.
This unit is at the very beginning of the complex just steps away from Driftwood Beach where you will find beauty beyond description, quiet moments, and the magic of Jekyll Island.

Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and some personal amenity items. These items will not be replenished during your stay.
Villas by the Seas has 3 coin-operated laundry rooms accessible with your key cards.

Jekyll Getaway

Great location

Great location and stay! Easy walk to Driftwood Beach. Kids loved having their own spaces and enjoyed the kid-friendly activities provided in the unit! Clean, decorated nicely, and felt like a home away from home. Will definitely stay here again.

The location was great. The room seems clean, but they haven't dusted the vents or fans in a very long time. They were all covered in thick dust. We loved being next to driftwood beach.

Beach get away

We had a wonderful stay at Jekyll Island due to staying here. It is right next to Driftwood Beach which was easy to walk to. There are plenty of games in the house to play on rainy days as well. We pick the perfect place for our family.

Lovely Beach views

Very homey condo. Beautiful view!

We love The Villas and have stayed there for many years. We usually book directly. This year’s condo was very homey, loved the decor and books and personal touch. The view is nice especially from the upstairs balcony. We definitely left the unit cleaner than we found it. In my opinion you should supply adequate towels, trash bags and toilet paper. We love The Villas and we will definitely be back.

Lovely Villa

Our family enjoyed our time at suite 103. This was our third visit to Jekyll Island and this was the nicest villa we have stayed in at Villa by the Sea. We loved waking up to beautiful sunrises from both our 2nd and 3rd floor balconies. You also can’t get any closer to Driftwood Beach!

Super nice retreat at Jekyl

No regrets renting this beautiful and spacious condo. Please be aware to check in at Parker Kaufman. We made the mistake to go to the front desk of Villa’s by the Sea and they treated us badly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Of the six villas we have rented in the Villas By the Sea on Jekyll Island, GA, this one is the best in both location and quality of furnishings. Parker-Kaufman is a bit on the cheap side in terms of disposables for the baths and kitchen. For example, they provide one roll of toilet tissue per bath for an entire week's rental and one towel and wash cloth per person. A splurge of a few dollars would go a long way for the rental price.

Pleasantly Surprised!

First and foremost, I have to admit, I never knew there were islands in Georgia! Jekyll Island did not disappoint and we were very pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. The property was beautifully decorated, equipped with everything we needed for our stay and the view was spectacular. We were closer than expected to shopping, restaurants, mini golf, etc so that was an added bonus. The weather didn't cooperate as much as we had hoped but we were never without things to do to keep us busy. The entire process from booking to checkout was seamless. We had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Mini Vaca

Jekyll Island was beautiful and the Codo was very nice, it had a few hick-ups. The chain on the downstairs bathroom kept coming off, but my main issue was the process of getting to the beach. The Villa's need to have direct access to the beach all walk overs where damaged from a storm back in September so the only way to the beach is down a path to Drift wood Beach which is breath taking but the problem is you have to cross over huge dangerous and sharp rocks to get to the beach and my daughter is pregnant so it was extra scary. I will definitely return to the island but not until the access is fixed. When i found this out before going a week before my trip I asked about access and was told it was just a short 5 minute walk to the beach, no mention of the rocks you would have to cross over to get to that beach.

Needs cleaning

The property needs attention to cleaning and maintenance. Several things were reported to the property management company and they were very responsive. They sent someone over to do a touchup and provided us with lunch. However this property is in need of thorough cleaning on a regular basis and not once or twice a year as stated by the management company.

Terrible communication!!

We found out one week before our rental that the condo was under construction and would not be available. This was an oceanfront condo. They offered us a house, inland and on a busy street. They did nothing else to assist us. We found a condo on our own for one week. We checked out the initial rental. It was a mess. They could have told us months earlier. They took no responsibility for not communicating with us.

Good for the soul!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time in Villa 103 at Villas by the Sea in Jekyll Island. The proximity to Driftwood beach was ideal. The view of the ocean was beautiful. It gave us time to relax, unwind, and heal ourselves, body, mind, and soul. We brought our bikes and rode all over the place. It is a great place to bird watch, take a dip in the ocean, and soak up the sun. We can't wait to go back!
