Enjoy our newly remodeled condo featuring a brand new kitchen with stunning Vortice Veneziano granite countertops, solid cherry cabinetry, and the look of bleached wood floors. The living room includes a wall AC unit, modern ceiling fans and lights, quiet appliances, a deep kitchen sink, and complete in-home laundry. The unit also boasts a new king bed, a spring mattress queen pullout, comfy furniture, a breakfast bar, and elegant indoor and lanai dining with a rocker set. The décor combines Hawaiian charm with a touch of Bali.

**Dining In?** The well-stocked kitchen includes pots, pans, accessories, utensils, and plenty of cabinet space. Upgraded wood privacy blinds in the living room and bedroom, a full mirrored wardrobe with a desk/vanity, built-in solid cherry cabinetry, and a second smart TV in the bedroom add to the comfort. All lighting is dimmer controlled.

The living room features a fully mirrored wall, elegant carved Bali furniture, a comfy couch, a large rattan lounge, and beautiful bar counter stools. The bedroom has a king-size bed, and the living room includes a new comfy queen-size sofa bed. Enjoy free high-speed wireless internet! The oceanfront lanai dining area has a table and four comfortable rockers. The full entertainment system includes a 42” Smart TV, DVD and CD player with a great sound bar and bass bin in the living room, and a flat panel Smart TV in the bedroom. You will get about 80 channels of cable and can stream your own programs. Both main rooms have modern adjustable high-speed ceiling lights and fans, and an AC wall unit in the living room.

The bath is equipped with a full shower/bath, new cabinetry, floors, and lighting. The home also includes a heavy-duty stacked washer and dryer and is family-friendly.

Fantastic!

Great condo, very clean, everything we needed was provided (including chairs/parasol for the beach), excellent location, wonderful views of the ocean and we enjoyed the sunsets from the lanai. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and would definitely return again.

The best place to stay for a wonderful Maui vacation !!

A beautiful location to see everything you want - whales, rainbows, turtles as well as access to numerous beaches, sites of interest, golf and shopping. The condo was very clean, private and quiet with a "to die for" view from the walk-out lanai. It was exactly as described and dealing with the owner was easy and helpful. This was our first time in the islands and we would definitely go back there !!

This condo was a ground-floor dream. From the lanai, it's a few steps on the grass to the edge of the water. We spent a lot of time on the lawn and nearby beach, it was pretty quiet and we saw very few other guests. The ones we did interact with were friendly. The condo included everything I needed to make the most of my stay, including beach chairs, beach towels, and a floatie tube. Additionally, the condo location was great, a quick walk from a great cafe, a public beach, and shops nearby. There is a window AC unit, although the cross wind breeze when all windows were open, with the waves crashing in the distance, was truly peaceful and pure bliss. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. The only downside is that this condo is a true ground-floor unit and is directly in front of the ocean, which means it could use some updating in a few areas.

Excellent place to stay

This is an excellent location as a base for your visit to Maui. The condo was clean and had everything you could need, a bedroom and pull out couch served us perfectly. Beautiful view with the ocean right outside your door, no beach but there are plenty close by. Definitely recommend this condo and would rent here again.

Great Condo, great location!

Alan's Place was spotless clean, and set up very nicely. Whales visible right from the Lanai. We enjoy the Peace and Quiet this area offers. If we want noise, we can drive to Lahaina, very easily....LOL. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful sunsets in Honokowai

Super clean, well appointed, ground floor unit with unobstructed ocean views perfect for sunsetting with your loved ones! We loved it. The listing just needed a few updates about the number of tv’s and the status of the pool (which was not open during our stay). I messaged the manager and they were very understanding and did their absolute best to make us happy. Would definitely go again!

Location, location, location

Fantastic ocean front condo. Small pocket beach at property boundary for swimming with resident turtle. The setting is so idyllic that we had our sunset drinks and dinner on the lanai every evening. Nice hardwood floors throughout. Well equipped kitchen. Bathroom is a bit dated. Bed is very comfortable. Like many condos on Maui there is no AC in bedroom (ceiling fan) but in living room, where it was not needed when we were there. We would definitely stay here again.

Ten Stars!

Five stars aren't nearly enough. We spent the week of Oct. 14-21, 2012 in this well equipped, conveniently located condo. Imagine walking out your back door onto the lanai, and seeing a well kept lawn, and the seawall about 50 feet away. Turtles swim by during the day, beautiful sunsets over Laini at night. The property is well kept, and the management staff all very helpful and polite. No loud noises from the street nor the other guests. It is convenient to the entire west coast of beautiful beaches, snorkling. golf, and markets. The town of Lahaina just moments away. The owner made us feel like we were his personal guests. I would highly recommend this condo.

Beautiful Ocean Front Condo

Thanks Alan. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at your condo. The condo is well equipped with all the amenities for the beach. Fully equipped kitchen that includes a dishwasher. The washer and dryer in the condo is a very nice touch. Condo is very clean and makes you feel at home, the location is also convenient, parking is included (that is nice). We especially enjoyed watching the whales and turtles right from the condo lanai. I have never written a review on anything before, and I have to say I was hesitant in writing a review on this condo, because it is a gem and when you find one, you don't like to share with too many others. One other thing Alan is very easy to work with, absolutely no worries.

Property was amazing, great people, everything you need was right there. Location is great, nice markets and beaches close by, got my run in every day and every day was a new experiacne. There is great access to all parts of the west side and they say it is the "best" side for obvious reasons. I was great to not be part of a mega hotel complex. The sunsets and ocean view, sound and sweet smell of the ocean was just what you would hope to experience. I will be back again to his property or anything Herb and Maui Lodging Properties has to offer.

Beautiful Sunset - Maui Bliss

We stayed 2 weeks in this unit and we really enjoyed our stay! It is very conveniently located, great friendly neighbours, and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Upon arrival, condo was very clean (obviously professionally done). Unit is nicely furnished, it has everything you need and it is right on the water. We’d put our swimming shorts, take the boogie boards and go straight to the beach (100 feet from lanai). Kids (3 of them) especially enjoyed watching turtles and swimming with them as well. We loved the most beautiful sunsets! Farmers market was close, which was convenient (good choice of healthy organic food, decent price too). The owner, Alan is very friendly and professional; he is easy to work with and responded to our every need and question. If you are looking for some nice relaxing time, this is the right unit for you; we would most certainly return to this unit. Thanks Alan!

All-around great place!

Stayed a week here in December. Location is within easy walking to various quick food places and <5 minute drive (or longer walk) to a large grocery market. ~10 minute walk to nice beach. 5 minute drive to brewery. Etc etc, location is great. Place was clean and well-appointed, including some handy beach supplies. Kitchen with tools, stove, fridge, coffee-maker helped save some money and effort by letting us cook food and store Costco supplies. Bathroom was clean, bed was fine, ceiling fans kept us cool thanks to cooling winds. Breakfast on the lanai every morning looking at the ocean and birds (no feeding!) was great. Wifi worked great, TV was ok (cable seemed odd) and the TVs let us sling content from our cell phones. Parking was easy. Pool looked nice but we never used it. Weirdly few bugs for Hawaii, the place is kept very clean. Complex seemed quiet. Only noise at night came from the ocean. Not sure what else to say, A+ would rent again.

Feel like you live in Maui

We love staying at a condo in this area of Maui - one can imagine what it would be like to live here! It is walking distance to the Farmers market, Fish market, snorkel and fin rental at All About Fish, and other casual meal take out options. We enjoyed relaxing on the lanai and watching the whales and turtles. Specific things we liked about this condo that are not necessarily typical: - oceanfront ground floor lanai very close to the water - parking is close, and there is always a spot in the lot - comfortable bed - newer appliances and furniture - sharp knives in the block for cooking and a decent garlic press - nice thick soft beach towels - beach mats, chairs, pool noodles, and a beach tote were available - Maui Revealed guide book and R2H CD for guests use (much appreciated!) Unfortunately, some erosion has occurred along the property's sea wall, so a mesh fence has been put up along this area for safety purposes, until repairs can be made. However, this really has only a minor visual impact, and did not cause any other type of inconvenience. The chocolates on arrival were a very welcoming touch, and it was super easy to access and check out of the condo. Thanks very much Alan for sharing your place, so others can feel like they live in Maui for a bit!

Nice small place, good location, right on the ocean, well-equipped.

This place is small but very nice. It has a living room separated from a kitchen by a counter, and a bedroom and a bathroom. the living room looks larger than it feels because one wall is all mirror. The sliding glass doors open to a semi-private lanai that opens to a lawn that is shared by the entire building (so people from the upper floors often sit in lounges or at table on the lawn right in your line of sight). The lawn used to have a walking path right on the ocean, but it appears to have been washed away and is now roped off. About 100 feet away is a super tiny sand beach and tidepools and access to the ocean for snorkeling or kayaking. This place is stocked with various sized coolers, portable beach chairs, boogie boards, many towels, many pillows, extra blanket for sofa-bed, full kitchen, laundry machines, extra batteries, scissors, chip-clips, filtered water pitchers, extra key and parking pass in case you need multiple, etc. - I was pleasantly surprised how many of our potential needs were anticipated by the owner! And he left detailed instructions and suggestions for us. There's also wifi and 2 TVs and ways to stream movies and stuff, but we didn't use any of that except wifi. Privacy is not really a thing here: people can view into your apartment (but not your bedroom) from the lawn, and if you close the interior blinds they are still see-though. There is a privacy "awning" thing you can pull down, but I couldn't figure out how to attach it to anything and didn't want it blowing in the wind so I didn't use it, but I suspect it's see-through as well. The location is very nice: about 15 minutes north of old Lahaina, about a 5 minute drive from a Supermarket Times (grocery store), and walkable to a great Farmers Market store (think vegan) and many other stores. It's also only about 10 minutes to Napili bay and maybe 30 minutes to Nakalele blowhole.

Perfect for 2

This is a lovely condo, perfect size for 2. It’s quiet and well maintained. It is situated right on the ocean where sea turtles swim. Beautiful view, just as advertised.
