we stayed here last year and again this year. It is so cute and comfortable. You can easily walk to anywhere you want to go in Gatlinburg. We will be back!
Overall very happy with our stay at the Riverside Princess! The cabin was in a good location, next to the relaxing river and close to town, and was very clean upon arrival. Just a few suggestions: the cabin needs more towel hooks, between a sauna, hot tub and shower, there are literally no hooks to dry your towels, and I would also be more forthcoming in the ad about the amount of steps up to the cabin. It was fine for us, but if someone wasn’t prepared, it could definitely cause some complaints. Again, overall a very positive experience, we would stay here again.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Cute, well stocked place. Walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. We took our small dog. Not much grass for him to go potty but it worked.
Cabin was nice and real close to downtown could have walked if my wife hadn't have broken her ankle before we came down. Only complaint I had but had nothing to do with the cabin or the owners is people walking there dogs and letting them use the bathroom in the parking area's and not cleaning it up. I had stepped in some and got it all over my shoes and inside my truck. Some people shouldn't own pets. But like I said it was the fault of where we stayed other than that me and my wife had a great time.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Princess Cabin. Super cute and clean! Loved the shower!! Our son used hot tub at least twice a day. Kept the windows open to enjoy the sound of the creek. Location was ideal and surrounding area was quiet and safe. Would rent again! Had to bribe our 5yo to leave.Thank you for helping make our first vacay as a family a memorable one!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We loved being on the river and the hot tub & sauna were a much welcome bonus after walking and hiking. Be careful of the step down stairs into the living room if you are with anyone with a disability or children. We were aware because the listing does state that, but just wanted to mention it. The hot tub and sauna were very clean! The kitchen is stocked well enough. We did not need anything else. There was a spider cocoon on one of the living room drapes but I made sure to tell them that when we checked out. Obviously, you’re in the mountains so that’s bound to happen. We were very pleased with the location and even walked into town one day. I would stay here again! Very easy to work with and even called on our way there since we were running late to make sure we had the after hours number of case we needed anything when we got there. We were very happy with this cabin!!!
Loved the sound of the water flowing. Perfect for us. Kitchen is very small. We only cooked breakfast so it was fine for that. Walking distance to downtown was a plus.
We’ve stayed at this cabin before and love the location. Easy walk down to the main strip. Cabin is perfect for the two of us. This trip we had to deal with the effects of Hurricane Helene which led to a massive rise in the river adjacent to the cabin. Due to the risk of flooding the rental agency moved us up the hill to another cabin the last couple of days. We can’t thank them enough for watching out for our safety and getting us right into another cabin. Great company.
Riverside Princess was a wonderful 4 day stay for my husband & I. Reading the reviews of the others before us gave us enough information to make the decision to book this riverview cabin. Easy to find as well. Coffee on the deck overlooking the rushing water was so peaceful. Bed is so comfortable along with the sauna & hot tub after a busy day of walking & enjoying all that we could in Gatlinburg. We didn’t take advantage of cooking any meals here though we did use the toaster once; everything is provided to prepare all of your meals. We really hope to return again to get a different view from this cabin in another season!!
I wanted to stay close to where my daughter was staying for her wedding and near downtown Gatlinburg for this particular weekend. This cabin worked perfwctly for that.
