Everything was great! I was a little surprised that there was no "kitchen", but what they had worked great and the grill was perfect! Would definitely visit again!
Host was very friendly, provided us with everything we would need. Stay was very nice peaceful neighborhood and the deer were very cute. Will definitely visit again!
Had a wonderful time! Ginger was very sweet and accommodating. Loved the spa hot tub, and loved seeing all the wildlife! Saw a rufous hummingbird several times! My friend slept in the main bedroom and I slept on the pull out, both were very comfy and warm. The kitchenette set up is great and has everything you need. Definitely going to recommend this place to my friends and will likely book again next time I want a hill country getaway!
Perfect place to stay 2 minutes from canyon lake and 20 minutes from Gruene Owners were super nice snd very helpful. Will definitely return next time in the area.
The hot tub was an infinity hot tub, so it was huge and the ability to swim against the stream was amazing. Ginger was very helpful. The property was quiet and clean.
This was a great little get away, it had literally everything we would need, loved the swim spa, and the outside areas around the property. Wish the bed was a little softer, otherwise it was one of the best places we have visited!!!!
The house was in a great location that was close to everything that we wanted to do. The hosts were lovely and were readily available for anything we needed! There was lots of wildlife around. The outside area was perfect with a very nice hot tub. The late checkout was an awesome benefit! We will definitely stay again!
Great location in the Hill Country. Relaxing and quiet place. Hot tub is a plus we were sitting in late night watching the stars.
Hosts (Ginger and Philip) gave us a good tips on what to do in the area.

So glad you enjoyed your visit and got to relax here in the Hill Country. See you next time!
Nice place near Canyon Lake and Wimberly. Perfect for a couple having a weekend getaway.
Plenty of wildlife, even saw a few humming birds (unusual for this late in the year.) Hosts were friendly as well.
Hope to stay there again.

James and Pam wanted to have a nice relaxed weekend for their anniversary. They enjoyed the hot tub swim spa, the beautiful sunsets., and the meandering deer. They also took advantage of the small town Hill Country charm of Wimberley just a few minutes away across on the Devils Backbone. We’re so glad we could provide a peaceful weekend for them in our little spot of paradise.
Scenery was beautiful! It was definitely a change from the City. Host was accessible and very attentive to detail.

About the host
Hosted by Ginger Hughes
My husband and I moved here from the big city of Dallas to enjoy the relaxation and beauty of the Hill Country. We love to tub or float the cool rivers and lake as well watch the abundant songbirds, deer, fox and other wildlife on our property. We are so happy to be able to share our little paradise with others.
Why they chose this property
We are located in the ideal spot, close to music and wine venues, shopping in the quaint HIll Country villages of Wimberley and Gruene, close to the clear waters of Canyon Lake and the cool waters of the Guadalupe River. Enjoy our little piece of the hill country. Swing on the swing, climb the stairs to the tree house, cool off in the swim spa, grill your favorite dinner, and catch a falling star in the dark sky above the bonfire, float the lake or river in a kayak. Best of all, put up your feet and enjoy the sunset or take a five minute ride to the Devils Backbone Tavern or a 15 minute ride to a Whitewater concert.
What makes this property unique
Our sunsets are always different yet always spectacular. The hummingbirds come right up to the porch where you are sitting, the deer and fox run around the property every day and night, and you'll love to watch the birds at our bird feeders and bird bath.
