The Rose Garden Room located in our Historic Hyde House Bed & Breakfast offers maximum comfortability when visiting the beautiful Hocking Hills State Parks and nearby attractions. Conveniently located 20 minutes away from Ohio University and 5 minutes away from Hocking College, allowing you to visit your student whenever you please. The Rose Garden Room is a cozy second floor bedroom with a Queen-sized bed and Twin-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom.

Wake up to the delicious smell of a home cooked breakfast. Spend the day exploring and experiencing all Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest. Visit some of our favorite local restaurants to wine and dine. Come back to enjoy a relaxing night where you can unwind and soothe tired muscles in the warm Jacuzzi. During the winter holidays, the Hyde House is decorated extravagantly with 5 foot tall nutcrackers, a beautiful custom built wooden sleigh for Santa & Christmas presents, and Christmas décor all throughout the inside of the home. The Hyde House Bed & Breakfast has been showcased during “Nelsonville’s Tour of Homes.”

We loved meeting the owner and staying in a historical house. The house was owned by my aunt's doctor and she has pictures of her as a child with him. It was very cool to stay there. Breakfast was amazing. Fuzzy is a great chef!

My daughter, and sister stayed at the Hyde House for one night before heading to Hocking Hills to hike. The Bed and Breakfast was clean, and quiet. Unfortunately, we were not able to stay for breakfast, as we got an early start to Hocking Hills the next morning. The breakfast smelled delicious, and the staff was courteous.

Gateway to Hocking Hills Area

The property and owner were great, just as advertised. The location of the property was well suited to our purposes of exploring the area on a motorcycle. The property owner was also very helpful with helping us a figure out where to go in Athens to start the Windy 9 motorcycle routes. Would highly recommend this property, it was very quiet and a great place to relax after 200+ miles per day on a motorcycle.

Romantic and fun

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Rose room for a night and had an excellent stay! The check in location was easy to find and the process painless! We ate at a recommended restaurant and had a great meal. The room was clean and the house was stunning. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the chef was so sweet! The house is working walking distance to Main Street and so charming and historic. Would stay here again!!

Staff was great, however never could use the hot tub since management could never get temp above 80 degree where sign said that temp needs to 96 degrees per management. Disappointed since this was a key feature for staying there especially after a long day of hiking. I doubled checked but the way we booked this roo. NOWHERE did it state to goto the local party store to get the key to check in. Luckily another couple who had the same issue told us where to go to get the key. Alittle frustrating after a 5 hour drive and being ready to relax for the night.
