San Diego stay
Our stay in this house was everything we expected. The hardest thing was the parking but as long as we used side streets and walked a bit it was ok. Great location for easily getting to areas we wanted to visit.

Secure stay in the heart of San Diego
The kitchen was clean and very well stocked - we had everything we needed to prepare meals at the house. There were four of us, so to eat together we had to go downstairs, as the table upstairs in the kitchen only seats two. The home was clean, although the carpet had an old stain in front of the couch. Parking is on the street, and can be difficult to secure, which would have been nice to know prior to booking, as we would have rented a compact instead of a midsize. The washer and dryer are coin-op and are in another building outside the main house. Quarters and detergent were provided, which was greatly appreciated. There is A/C, although we didn't use it. We just kept the blinds closed, and it stayed fairly cool. The neighborhood isn't quiet, and I wouldn't walk the streets on my own after dark, but the house has a security gate to the property, and another code for the house, and then individual codes for the units, so I didn't feel unsafe. The biggest plus for us was that the teenage foster kids each had a room downstairs, and ours was upstairs, which was nice. we could play games together at the table downstairs, and then come up to watch some TV and enjoy a glass of wine when the teens went to bed. The table and chairs on the front porch are a great place to sit at sunrise or sunset!

Cute house in downtown San Diego!
The rental was very clean, nice and comfortable! It was well kept with nice towels and linens. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The owner kept in contact and was available for anything we needed. It was close to the Gaslamp district. We would definitely recommend this rental and would love to stay there again!

I grew up in Northampton Massachusetts, a town with countless beautiful old homes and lots of woods. I spent countless days in my youth building tree forts never knowing that those 2 dynamics would intersect at this point. Upon arriving in San Diego with an interest in building and purchasing real estate, I became immediately interested in the largely neglected Victorian buildings in this area of town. This property became a labor of love for me many years ago and I hope that legacy will be carried forward by my 3 sons. My wife is Japanese, so our family often divides our time between 2 very different worlds, both with much to offer.

Why they chose this property

I am hopeful that our guests will appreciate the attention to detail and uniqueness of design that has been incorporated into every aspect of this property.

What makes this property unique

Our property is strategically located close to most of San Diego's most popular destinations. It's central location and proximity to a newly revitalized downtown, airport, beaches and parks affords our guests the best possible experience while visiting San Diego.
