Amazing Jungle Retreat with all conveniences

This property is amazing, built into the natural surroundings and with all the wildlife you would only imagine. Service was excellent and the property was above and beyond anything I expected. Dont hesitate to consider this place. You won’t regret making it a destination.

Two nights in A7 adult section was not enough. A sloth in the tree outside our balcony? Come on! A quiet adult pool with virtually private swims. A huge room with sprawling balcony. And those sunsets! The service was always polished although we didn’t need to interact with the hotel employees very often. The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Next year we may try A8 for the full sunset but I think we had the best room. A cheap and quick bus ride to the park. Don’t waste money on a cab and don’t drive for goodness sakes. Catch the bus across the street.

Awesome location, views and staff

Costa verde is a wonderful place to stay. It’s a very unique property that covers many acres with various lodging options. The staff are fantastic, the views are incredible and it’s close to a lot of activities. A few observations: it is located basically on a mountain. To walk anywhere, including the beach, means walking down and up very steep hills on a fairly treacherous road. I love walking hills so it was great for me. If you don’t or can’t walk hills, plan on renting a car, using taxis or taking the bus. We did use the bus a few times and it’s cheap and reliable. The mattress was thinner and much firmer than I expected from a luxury resort. Not a big deal but kind of surprising. One of our neighbors was smoking cigarettes on their deck, making ours unusable. Lucky they weren’t there the whole time we were. I don’t know if smoking is allowed but it shouldn’t be. Regardless, I highly recommend costa verde. It’s a magical place and would definitely stay there again b

Can’t beat the view! The resort was super cool. Lots of food nearby with the option of free delivery to the room which was so nice after the travel we had on our arrival. Short walk to the beach which was nice but beware of the steep climb back up! We loved it!

massively overpriced

The room did in fact have a pretty view, but the room itself was not comfortable. It was right off the highway and very noisy. Uncomfortable beds. Lots of bugs. I understand it is the jungle but I hadn't anticipated cockroaches in the bathroom.

Location, location.

And I mean the location of my room. It was situated at ground level, seriously mere feet from a road used by guests and cars alike. It was on a hill, necessitating cars to race their engines to climb. I needed to keep the curtains closed at all times because pedestrians would have only had better visibility if I invited them in.

Great vacation spot

The property and accommodation was just as shown and described on the website. The adult pool is great to sit next to you and have cocktails. Views are beautiful. We did not rent a car based on information given to us by the owner. I would strongly suggest a car rental since the area is very mountainous and even walking half a mile to a restaurant in the heat and humidity can tire you out. Great day I hope we will be able to go back sometime soon.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à l'hôtel Costa Verde. La vue est magnifique, la nature est omniprésente (singes capucins, iguanes, agoutis, oiseaux, végétation luxuriante). Nous avons très bien mangé aux restaurants Anaconda (déjeuner et diner) et La Cantina (souper), sur le site de l'hôtel. La chambre était très confortable et propre.

A Great Stay

My wife and I spent four nights at Costa Verde in a spacious room overlooking the pool and with views of the ocean. The room was spacious and included a complete kitchen...with coffee provided. All of the staff were very hepful and friendly. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the restaurants associated with the resort had some of the best food we experienced on our 10 day CR vacation. They provide transportation to their restaurants up the hill which was very helpful in the warm climate of the area. We would highly recommend Costa Verde to anyone thinking of visiting Manuel Antonio

Panoramic views of ocean and jungle!

This rental was incredible! We had a huge balcony with panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding jungle. In the early mornings, we were woken up by the sound of howler monkeys in the distance. Every afternoon a bunch of squirrel monkeys would visit the pool area and play around, which was so much fun to watch. And the white faced monkeys would actually climb up on our deck to visit! The rental itself was very roomy, comfortable and clean. This place was so wonderful that we hated to leave.

Nice and clean apartment!

We enjoyed our stay at Faith’s apartment. It was kept very clean by housekeepers (and was clean when we arrived), and the AC is great! The balcony is large and overlooks the pool and ocean. Faith was an excellent communicator and helped resolve a problem (outside her control, and she handled it well). We would stay in an apartment she manages again. Great fridge/ cold ice/ good cooktop for a weekly stay. Thanks!

Dream Vacation

My husband & I stayed at Costa Verde and I had no idea the hotel and the rooms were going to be so nice. Our room was in the C Area and we had a beautiful ocean view. Getting to the beach and all the restaurants were super easy. I saw so many monkeys it was ridiculous! We had an absolutely amazing time!
