About this property

Private home on a private beach. 3 BR, and a very big Loft, 3 Bath Sleeps max 11, spacious kitchen/living area, big out door deck with access to no bank oyster and clam beach, spectacular panoramic views of water, sunset, and Olympic Mountain. Our beach has a deep water mooring/buoy, 10 minute boat ride to Hoodsport, Union, Alderbrook, so bring your boats/jet skis, kayaks, etc and enjoy the Hood Canal waters. Great for vacation getaway or family reunion in Hood Canal, Tahuya, Washington. Belfair: 20 min, Seattle: 90 min

Good and not so good things

Biggest 2 complaints are: No air conditioning with beds upstairs and cameras in downstairs which I understand is against Vrbo policy but are legal. Enjoyed the view and being right on the water. The oysters are plentiful. The deck is great. The owner was very prompt in getting back to me with info. Would not rent again in the summer time unless they put in A/C.

25min into Belfair, so enjoy the relaxation of being away from traffic and enjoy the water!

Our family (11) had a great time! The house accomodated us well. The kitchen was well equipped and the big island was very helpful for cooking and serving food. Would have been nice to have access to a washer/dryer and patio furniture, otherwise it was a fanstatic and relaxing family time.

House is located right on the water with the beautiful view. We enjoyed the place, our time there and especially the oysters we picked up from the water every morning. It was Awesome !!! Thank you.

Fees, cameras, and sketchy actions.

The cost of the house doubles after all the fees. Cameras outside the house and in common areas in living room and kitchen which creeped us out to be monitored during thanksgiving. Owners tried to charge us for damage that was done to house, which is very weathered and kitchen is a collection of old garage sale cooking utensils and carpet looks like a mud wrestling match prior to our arrival. Oysters were fun but having to call owner for info to get in and being treated poorly after forced a bad review. I have been in many vrbo rentals , this will be remembered for the wrong reasons.

Perfect beach vacation with amazing views

My husband & I loved our stay! It’s perfectly located right on the beach and in a quiet area of Tahuya. The house is very clean and well furnished with everything you would need. The house is very roomy, we loved the huge kitchen island. Every room has a water view that doesn’t disappoint. We spent most our time on the the massive patio viewIng wildlife. We saw whales, seals, eagles, fish, crabs & the beach is loaded with tons of clams and oysters for our enjoyment. Sunsets were absolutely stunning! The owner Van was very responsive to any questions and great to work with. Would recommend and hope to return soon!
