A private garden paradise in a beautiful, park-like setting just a few minutes walk from historic downtown Silverton. Spoil yourself in this picturesque light-filled studio cottage and enjoy the multiple outdoor living areas-from the comfy couch under the covered front porch next to a warming fireplace table to the wisteria-draped pergola bench swing. Maybe a glass of wine by the wood-burning fireplace listening to a burbling waterfall or just watching the hummingbirds and wandering through the jasmine, dahlias and roses. Your stay includes continental breakfast fixings, fruit, snacks and beverages as well as seasonal you-pick raspberries, strawberries and tomatoes. Cruiser bikes and a summer-time private pool top off your experience in this charming, romantic tiny house.

An amazing place and amazing host. Great location for a quiet getaway. Definitely the cleanest place we have stayed at. Everything you need is right there, even some nice welcome goodies. We look forward to visiting again in the spring/summer when the garden and grounds are in full bloom.

An absolute gem!

My son and I booked the cottage for a long weekend stay. As soon as we pulled up to the property we knew we had come to a wonderful place of peace and tranquility. The gardens are meticulously cared for and there are multiple cozy corners where you can relax. The cottage itself was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. It had all the necessary features and amenities for a very enjoyable stay and the mattress and pillows were very comfortable too! The hosts were very kind and helpful every time I reached out with questions. I highly recommend this property and plan on staying here again!

What an adorable cottage! Everything was perfect when we arrived - beautiful decor, snacks, fruit and drinks provided, impeccably maintained property, extremely clean cottage, and friendly hosts. We were very pleased with our stay, and highly recommend a visit! The cottage is located directly next to the hosts' lovely Victorian home, with beautiful gardens, front and back patios, two fireplaces, and a small above ground pool. Cutest Cottage home ever!

We are so happy with our stay at this cottage. Location was perfect! The property and landscaping was so unique. Very clean and fresh. I loved that it was also very toddler friendly with baby proof locks for the cupboard. We were so happy to have the fresh fruit/food and all that came extra with the stay. Every small detail was very appreciated. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delightful!

A friend of mine and I stayed at the Garden Cottage for two nights in early October. The cottage itself is adorable, open, comfortable and full of light. It is tastefully decorated with attention to sweet details. The hosts provided a wide variety of breakfast food and snacks including fresh fruit, croissants, muffins, yogurt and waffles. There were chips, cookies, trail mix, M&Ms and even wine. The gardens are amazing, obviously tended with much love. It was such a peaceful place to be. I’d be happy to rent it again and just hang out in the gardens to read, watch hummingbirds and soak in the beauty of the flowers.

Gorgeous and peaceful property

Kurt and Kathryns home was amazing! The plants, flowers and hummingbirds were a delight to wake up to while sipping our morning tea outside in comfortable yard furniture. The cottage was extremely well equipped and shiny clean. Beds were comfortable. We saw 3 lovely cats, 2 let us pet them! Staying here was a complete joy and reprieve from our long days vending at Oktoberfest.

This was my second stay at the property, but this time I brought my husband. When I last stayed in February for a work trip, it was winter time, so the beautiful gardens were not in bloom. I was so looking forward to seeing what a summer stay would mean for the gardens, and they did not disappoint. Everywhere you looked there were roses and dahlias and honeysuckle vines and flowers of kinds, sizes and colors. The trees were filled with tweety birds and hummingbirds were zipping from flower to flower. The beautiful extra touches of art, water features, gazing balls and wind-spinners that take an ordinary property to a glorious slice of heaven like this we’re everywhere. That’s just a peek into the property surrounding the private cottage where you stay. Think of it as a beautifully-appointed spacious studio apartment complete with EVERYTHING you could ever want or need, from the kitchen, to the bathroom to the comfy bed, AC, ceiling fan, and even a sliding glass door exit onto a covered patio filled with MORE flowers, hanging baskets, fruit and vege raised beds and a gorgeous Victorian-style glass greenhouse. Throw in a few friendly kitty cats and the most gracious hosts you could hope for. Oh - did I mention the small, crystal clear, above ground pool? Bottom line? This place is heaven on earth

I absolutely LOVED this place and thought I'd already written a review. The interior was clean and beautifully appointed with all kinds of extras, from wine to snacks, even toiletries like deodorant if you forgot something.
