Three marvellous weeks in Flassans ! We just returned from our vacation in the house in Flassans and are still full of the many beautiful impressions we hold. We enjoyed the house and the pool and in particular the magnificent view from the balcony over the valley. The house is situated at the very outskirts of Flassans and the drive there is a little adventure. Living in a city throughout the year, we found that the tranquility of the site supports finding inner balance. The house has all amenities a family needs and we cooked a lot at home. The managers, Sebastien and Valerie, are very fine people and very helpful. Although they don't speak English and we only little French, we understood each other well with the help of a translator app. Our son loved to help manage the household in particular feeding the chicken (not noisy, no rooster) and collecting their eggs. We did a lot of tours from Flassans with our electric van. Driving to the beach (Hyeres) and to Aix en Provence takes about 45 minutes. Charging can be done on the highway and in Le Luc. We recommend visiting the local wine shop which has award-winning local rose wines that are not expensive. If we travel to Provence again, we would certainly consider renting the house again. It's just great !
