Such a cute place! The host was on it with replying back to me when I had questions before my trip and during! Really wish I got to meet them, literally a few minutes out from downtown Hilo just a beautiful spot, I seen someone write about chickens but I didn’t even hear one lol we did get to see some baby piggy’s, such an amazing experience holding I can stay here again next year MAHALO NUI TO THE HOST FOR OPENING UP THIS HALE FOR US

My family (siblings/friends) checked in at this cottage a few years earlier. This is our second time for us to stay here This place has a character of its own. Although it's small, it seems spacious to me. It is unique and charming. The host was incredibly accommodating and attentive to every detail. She showed genuine kindness during our stay and made us feel right at home. She allowed us a late check out during a storm and even let us stay an extra day in the event that our flight got canceled. She went above and beyond to make us feel safe. She's a superhost.Thank you for being flexible and understanding. Your warm hospitality made a huge difference in our trip.

Spartan is good

This VRBO is all of what we needed and no unnecessary frills . We were out 12 hours a day and we found a clean , organized place to sleep when we came in for the night.

Hilo

Nice little house. Its very close to the Hinoli surfspot. You can hear the highway and airplanes, which is a little bit sad. Also it was not completely clean. Would go again.

This place was perfect for us- we rented both cottages. They used to belong to our family and we were in town for a graduation luau, and the house next door was the central house. So we could walk right over! Houses are nice and comfortable - but they are vintage and in the local neighborhood- so if that’s your jam, this is a good value.

Welcome to Rooster Inn

One of the blankets look like someone blew their nose on the under side of it, a yellow discharge, sent pic to manager. A rat in the attic particles falling through the attic entrance onto the bathroom floor, sent pic to manager. Sleeping can be a little difficult, Kochi frogs at night and roosters start crowing at 3:00 am till Evening So I said Welcome to the Rooster Inn.
