Imagine waking up to a beautiful sunrise every morning! Carry your favorite beverage onto the huge patio outside your sliding glass door overlooking the ocean waves. Dolphins are regularly seen, just off shore.
This tastefully decorated, 1 bedroom condo comes complete with all linens. It features a spacious bedroom with queen size bed and plenty of closet space to store your belongings. The sun-filled living room has a comfortable, queen size foldout sofa and cozy chairs. A handy pocket-door provides privacy between rooms. TV has 30+ channels with Wifi.
The well appointed kitchen features 4 stainless steel appliances and plenty of counterspace and storage, making it perfect for those who like to cook. With a view of the ocean, it overlooks a full dining space with extendable table to easily seat 6 adults. A full-size washer & dryer is in suite.
Fripp Island's beautiful sand beach is accessible at low tide by stairs on the property. Sunset can be enjoyed from the communal deck on that side. Go down into the sunken courtyard where there are gas barbeques, tables & chairs for your use, and hidden alcoves where you can enjoy the beautiful gardens.
The tree-strewn beach at Hunting Island State Park can be seen from your deck. The Park has walking trails through the beautiful Carolinian maritime forest, a wide sand beach where you might find shark teeth, and a lighthouse to view. Olde Beaufort is only 20 miles away, with many restaurants, shopping, historic sites, and amenities. Hilton Head, Savannah and Charleston are all nearby for day tripping.
Fripp Island is a private, gated community. There are 32 pedestrian Access Points along the 3.5 mile beach. Expect a relaxing vacation with beautiful sunrises, sunny beach walks, fresh seafood and experience local Lowcountry hospitality. There is NO ACCESS to Fripp Resort amenities including pools, restaurants or sports facilities.

Stayed here before was nice before ! This time no dryer! Had to dry all of our clothes, and sheets with the fan we brought like it was living back in the 1800's! The washer stopped after one load !! Refrigerator was leaking water every where! Microwave did not work! VERY disappointing! Our family have been coming down to Fripp forever and we know the neighbors and a lot of people who come here! We will never use VRBO again to rent a place we will use private owners! You will probably trash this I don't why I am responding to this! You and I know when you go on a vacation you want to relax and rest rest! We even try to clean up and sweep the place we stay in before we leave! It says relaxing beachfront condo more like work! Only gave 3 people 2 towels and wash clothes and on complaining they only gave 2 more but I would have to go to the ocean to clean them with my wash board! Please put in the notes to bring own supplies. I could have purchased an electric golf cart to save the world because there was no electric plug in so we had to purchase a gas one!

The fact that there is not access to the amenities such as the pool, beach club, and golf course needs to be more prominent in the Expedia advertising for this property. The owner wrote it in the instructions received after the booking, payment and past the cancellation date.

Perfect location to watch dolphins

Our favorite spot on magical Fripp! charming one-bedroom waterfront condo clean and comfortable furnishings, and a breathtaking view that never got old.Waking up each morning tstepping out onto the deck with a cup of coffee was pure magic. Watching the sun rise over the water was truly was the best kind of wake-up call.The location couldn’t be better—peaceful, quiet, and steps from nature. The beach was just a short walk away accessible at low tide. Be sure to rent a golf cart it’s a short ride to the resort beach access. We love Suttcliffe golf carts for rental. Wildlife is everywhere on beautiful Fripp. No amenity cards but who needs them—we cook our meals and eat lunch a couple of times at Johnson’s creek tavern. No access to pools but the beach is at your front door.

PROPERTY AND LOCATION WAS GREAT. BEAUTIFUL ISLAND AND VERY TROPICAL. THE ONLY DISAPOINTMENT WAS YOU NEEDA AMINITIES CARD FOR RESTAURANTS WHICH MENT DRIVING MILES FOR FOOD. MY SUGGESTION IS BRING FOOD, DRINKS, AND COFFEE AND YOU WILL BE IN GOOD SHAPE. AS FAR AS PROPERTY IT WAS GREAT AND A WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY.

This was our second time booking this condo. We absolutely love the view. We had a few situations that came up at the condo and each was taken care of immediately. The parking is easy with just few steps or use of elevator and you are at your condo.

Everything was as it stated. I wish there was constant access to the beach and not just a couple hours in the morning when the tide goes down. We rented a golf cart to have access on the whole island and was glad we did. It would have also been nice to have the membership card to have access to at least the restaurants. But it all worked out and we had a great time. The island is beautiful and well worth booking. Management was very quick to answer any questions we had as well.

We loved sitting on the large common property deck, just a step outside of our living room watching the sun rise each morning. Great amenities, well cared for. Shaded underground parking kept the car cool and convenient for loading/unloading. We would definitely consider staying again.

Beautiful location

We stayed at Newhaven this year and loved the location. It was near the beach access and it was so pretty to watch the waves in the morning and at night. Be careful using 1A as beach access as the tide comes in quickly. We learned the hard way that 1b access is about a 1.5 mile walk back to Newhaven. The kitchen was fully equipped. We enjoyed Morgan River Grille in Dataw and went into Beaufort once but stayed at Fripp for most the trip. Can’t wait to come back!

This condo was perfect. Booking and communication was easy and fast. Having a private parking space that was near the stairs (elevator available if need) that came out right at our condo was nice. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed slept fine. If you enjoy the most beautiful sun rises this is the condo for you.

Location, location, location

My husband, 3 month old, and I stayed here. We have stayed all over the island, but this was our first time staying in the Ocean Point area and it did not disappoint. We are people that enjoy staying on the beach sun up to sun down and knew that would be difficult with a 3 month old. The ocean views and the makeshift beach steps away from condo were a selling point. It was perfect for this trip. I have cleanliness 4 stars because there was mold on the shower curtain and bathroom ceiling. However, I’ve been coming to fripp for many years and this is common in most places we have stayed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return.
