"RIVER BEND LODGE"is a private lodge where your family/group occupy the entire home, boat bunkhouse/ gameroom. It is the Jewel of the St John's River. Its is a spectacular river front custom-built home designed to entertain and relax with your family/group. The very open floor plan features an incredible island kitchen that opens directly into the sprawling great room with full stone fireplace under vaulted ceilings with beautiful solid wood beams for those cool nights.

Great home went with 18 family members lots of space to enjoy each other. Beautiful dock and property,wildlife everywhere osprey,gators, manatees,blue herons.We caught bass,bluegill,stingrays and an eel.Great location for all the local springs and beaches.

Fishing Trip

We go to Astor about three times a year for a three - four day fishing trip. The River Bend lodge made the trip so much more comfortable. The lodge is laid out with everything you need and is close to boat ramps & restaurants . We will definitely be back

Awesome House! - Awesome Location!

The house is HUGE with large bedrooms and the most amazing central living area and well-equipped kitchen. Right on the river with a huge dock and places for multiple boats. Our family LOVED staying here!

Perfect location, centrally located for boat lovers. Close proximity to Silver Glen Springs. The house is beautiful with plenty of room for our party! Owner was extremely helpful with any questions I had. Will book again in the near future!

Great Retreat

Had a leadership retreat with our organization. There were 6 couples and the property was great for relaxing and meeting. Loved the setting on the river, and the well furnished indoor and outdoor spaces. I would recommend for large groups.

Backyard Family Wedding

This was the perfect location for our small family wedding. We got the whole weekend to enjoy our family and friends. Also the perfect backdrop to say “I do”. The owner was available for assistance when we needed him and was super friendly!

Plenty of Room

There was 11 of us and there was plenty of room so every couple had their own bedroom and bath. That was wonderful! We also enjoyed the large dining table which allowed us all to sit together for meals and games. The living room was also nice and spacious with plenty of room for those who wanted to watch TV. Being right on the river was peaceful and enjoyable.

Big with Great River Views

Loved the layout of this property. 5 rooms with king beds and private baths, great for multiple couples. There are a few additional features not listed, like a fire pit, grill and large Blackstone. The house is a bit dated but what we were expecting, pictures are true to the house. We really enjoyed family time, cooking in the large kitchen and wrap around deck! Sunrises were gorgeous.

Great location and wonderful layout for large family. Needs updating. Carpets are worn and home needs manor deep clean. Sent a couple emails to owner before and during stay but never received response. Overall a good stay.

Perfect Family Retreat

Riverbend is a beautiful, rustic retreat that we stayed in so that we could have all our kids back together after Covid 19 as two of them are first responders. The home is huge and everyone had their own space. We brought our boat but also used the pontoon so all could enjoy the fun and sun. We will be booking again. Thank you Mark for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful river home.

Great place

This house was a great place. We were there for a birthday and dirt Track Nationals. It was close to the track. there was a lot of space for everyone. we BBQ and fished off the dock. We rented there boat and went to lunch on the water. we will coming back in the summer sometime. The owner was a great guy. Totally reamend this place.

Refreshing and Peaceful Fishing Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at RiverBend and have already booked again for next year. The house is very spacious and has great views up and down the St Johns River. Wonderful dock to sit and enjoy a cocktail too. Thanks to Mark and his team for putting together a great place for friends and family to enjoy time together, but big enough to have private space and time as needed. LOL. We are already anticipating the fun our group will have next spring at RiverBend!

Great Get Away Spot

We returned this year to the beautiful setting on the St John's River. This home is as advertised and communication with Mark (the host) was great. The home has a beautiful view just steps away from the dock on the river. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we needed as well. This was not our first time here, and we have already booked again for next year. Each year, it seems that he is adding more features to make the home even better. We love the full size griddle on the porch too. Wish the weather was a little cooler this year, but other than that, it was great!
