Lakefront Cabin near Canton, Ben Wheeler and Edom

Lovely Cabin in secluded private 365 acre Lake stocked with Catfish, Crappie and Bass.

Main cabin includes large loft bedroom with king size bed. Full kitchen and bathroom. Great room with 20 foot ceiling. Rustic Lake decor. Great room has futon couch and futon chairs. Mini split AC/Heat. Separate Bunkie sleeps 2 with AC/Heat. Great back porch overlooking large waterfront lot with private pier and seating area. Outdoor Gas Grill. Separate common area with large fire pit (initial fire wood provided) overlooking the water.

10 minutes from Ben Wheeler and Edom. 22 miles from Canton and Canton Trade Days on 1st Monday weekends. 80 minutes from downtown Dallas.

Canoe, Kayaks, life jackets available at no charge to use at your own risk.

Maximum occupancy - 4. Maximum automobile accommodations - 3. No fire arms or guns of any kind or fireworks is allowed.

Disclosure: Exterior security surveillance system. Owners live next door.

This is such a peaceful spot. We enjoyed the accommodations, watching the birds from the dock and the porch. Eric and Charlie were so thoughtful and accommodating thinking of every detail from sparking mineral water (my favorite) and snacks to the sign with our names at the entry. We felt immediately relaxed. We explored a couple of restaurants in the area and enjoyed the complete experience.

Perfect place for unplugging and relaxing! The cabin, grounds and view of the lake were exactly what we were looking for. The hospitality from the hosts was exceptional. We are definitely planning on frequent visits to this gem!

Cabin was well appointed and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. Hosts were very responsive to all questions we asked.The catfish finally showed up on the third evening we were there before a big rainstorm moved through the area.

Perfectly Relaxing

I spent a fantastic weekend staying here! The cottage is adorable and very comfortable. All I wanted was to sit on the pier, read, and relax and this was the perfect place to do it. I highly recommend everything about this place for anyone who wants to get away and unwind!

A very beautiful lake house on Calender lake very quiet very relaxing , beautiful view from the house. Charlie & Eric were wonderful host. We shall make the 4 hour trip from Friendswood again

Fabulous hosts and cabin!

Our only regret is that we didn’t book for a longer period of time! Loved the cabin and the hosts. Very comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake. Close enough to Canton for Trade Days but far enough out to not be in the ongoing crowds. We want to come back soon!

Charlie and Eric's lakefront cabin is AMAZING!!! So comfortable and cozy, the property is beautiful, the dock,firepit perfect. Had a great time fishing and just relaxing. Charlie and Eric are amazing Hosts they had a wonderful welcome basket and beautiful Anniversary card for us when we arrived. 1st class, offered us a boat ride around the lake so sweet. Relax and rejuvenate

This is the perfect spot to just relax and get rid of all of your anxiety. The beautiful views and near by small towns are exactly what is needed to hit that restart button. The hosts are very welcoming and informative about the area and can give you suggestions on what to do and where to go to make the stay more enjoyable. Will definitely be going back!

Girl trip to Canton!

How lucky we fell to find this hidden little gem so close to Canton Trade Days! The accommodations were lovely and on a lake. Not only did we have a lake view, but a dock as well, to enjoy our complimentary wine and cheese. Eric and Charlie were superb hosts, and even took us on a evening boat ride. We are already making plans to return and stay in this quite, quaint cabin! We would give this 10 stars if possible!! Thank you again Charlie and Eric! Your OK new friends , Sheryl, Janice and Claire
