Salvadorian rancho a 15 minute walk to the beach!
Located in a gated community and surrounded by jungle with spectacular views of the ocean and the valley below, this is a perfect place to relax with family or friends.
The three bedrooms can accommodate six adults comfortably, or as many as eight people if you are travelling with kids. And of course, all of the bedrooms have their own AC to keep you cool at night!
What makes this house exciting is that, even though you are in a gated community, you are still very much in a jungle. It is lush and full of life and you will see and hear nature all around. There will be the occasional gecko darting about and you may run into a spider or two, but that's all part of the charm (and the geckos will take care of them).
The connection with nature was part of the inspiration for the name we chose - Casa Del Torogoz. Named after the Torogoz, El Salvador's national bird, the turquoise-browed motmot The house has modern amenities but it has maintained some of it's rustic charm. The shower is outdoors (fully enclosed for privacy) and the layout is such that it encourages as much outdoor living as possible - because once you see the view and feel the warm sun, you'll want to be outside as often as you can.
Speaking of the view - there isn't a space at Casa Del Torogoz (with the exception of the WC) that doesn't offer some sort of view. Unlike a lot of houses in the area, we have made sure that every bedroom is full of windows so you can fully appreciate the setting.

We are a family of six and passionate travelers. We feel that seeing new things and visiting new places is an important part of our kids growing up, so they pretty much always travel with us. But sometimes my wife and I need a little break as well.
Why they chose this property
We like to travel, a lot and we recognize the effort and expense that goes into a trip. As such, we want to make sure that anyone visiting our house has the best possible experience. We pride ourselves on having strong communication with our guests, anticipating their needs and being ready to respond to any requests they may have.
Whether its is just you, a couple or a family of six, we want to make sure that you come away from a stay at our house feeling like you made the right choice.
Why did we pick this house? Well, once you see the view, you'll know a big part of why we did. But there's also something nice about how it is in a very lush area while still being located in a gated community. It's the best of both worlds.

What makes this property unique
One thing you will notice about Casa Del Torogoz is that pretty much every spot in the house (and on the property) has an amazing view of either the mountains, the valley or the ocean - and some have all three.
This is especially true in the bedrooms. A lot of houses in the area are nice but they have tiny little windows in the bedrooms with little to no view of anything special. At our house, every bedroom has an amazing view - and it's great to wake up to!
Another benefit is the proximity to the beaches and the Atami Escape Resort. While the house has all of the amenities required to make a range of different meals, it is also nice sometimes to just stroll down to Atami, get a cabana and have lunch at the Resort.
This is especially true in the bedrooms. A lot of houses in the area are nice but they have tiny little windows in the bedrooms with little to no view of anything special. At our house, every bedroom has an amazing view - and it's great to wake up to!
