Our Stay in Dijon France
The VRBO apartment in Dijon is located inside of the Hotel des Ducs in the heart of old Dijon. The front desk staff were extremely knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations on where to eat and buy wine!
The apartment was very modern and well stocked. The king bed was extremely comfortable. We were walking distance to dozens of restaurants, shops, historical attractions, and the famous Les Halles Market.
Future renters should be aware that the apartment is located on a street with a lot of traffic and people walking by which can be quite loud, even after midnight. Also, the large bath and dressing room had an odor that smelled a bit like sewer gas. We had to keep the door separating this room from the living quarters closed at all times.
There is no free parking in Dijon, so visitors with a car will need to find and pay for parking which can be difficult in the evening. The meters utilize the Flowbird Parking App so you can pay for parking remotely with your phone.
We would stay there again once the sewer gas smell is resolved.
