Beautiful older house with a lot of character. The surrounding neighborhood is awesome with short walks to small shops and restaurants. Very good vibe!
These people should teach a class on hosting a home!
This is a charming vintage home in a great neighborhood chock full of great restaurants and cute shops! Short of having a full refrigerator, these hosts have covered everything we needed. Games, tvs, streaming, an awesome hot tub, spices and everything you might need, and didnt expect to find. The house is very quiet. The beds and linens are all very comfortable and the climate control is on point. The lowest level of the house is very accessible and kind of a home.within a home. It hosts a great family room with a massive tv, a stand up arcade game with all your favs.It also has a kitchenette, an office, accessible bathroom and large bedroom with two beds. It even has a nook for little kids complete with their own kids kitchen! The owners have created a wonderful curation of art, comfy furniture, vintage dishes, and thoughtful books. This is possibly the easiest stay weve ever had. The owners have covered everything.And....the HOT TUB rocks! Do yourself a favor and bring your crew here.
Stayed here to go check out the Bourbon Trail. House was perfect for our group. It’s in a fun area of town with a lot that you can walk to. Would definitely stay here again
Absolutely would stay here again as it was one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had. Rental is well stocked with paper products, towels, and even snacks. Very thoughtful management who is quick to respond and accommodate requests. We loved the multiple living areas (downstairs and on the main level). Comfortable beds as well. Right in the heart of the Highlands and we walked to a few places to eat. Definitely recommend this rental. .
The house is in a great location one block off Bardstown Road. The neighborhood is tree lined with beautiful older homes. The house has everything you’ll need - plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen, baby gates for the stairs, etc. We were all impressed with how well appointed the house was. Sat out back and enjoyed the patio. All around great experience.
Super charming, well stocked home in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood. The hosts were very responsive and had even stocked coffee and snacks, which was so appreciated. Beds were comfortable - and the AC worked great on all levels, which was amazing since we visited in a heat wave.
Kids loved hanging out and playing the arcade games in the basement, and my mom loved that there was a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen on that floor so she could avoid stairs.
We walked to Cherokee Park and great restaurants nearby, and loved sitting in the hot tub in the backyard in the evening watching fireflies.
I hope we can stay here again on a future visit to Louisville…so much to do and see - and feel like we just scratched the surface in our week visit. Thankful we had such a great home base for all the adventures!
We booked this place as a family getaway meeting point halfway between our locations. The house had lots of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The adults were upstairs, and the kids were in the lower level. If they stayed up late, we weren't kept awake. The house was a short distance from groceries and shopping. Many places were within walking distance. We planned to visit several museums and the zoo. We made it to the zoo, but it was rainy the day we planned to visit the museums. We decided to stay in and play games. We would gladly book it again if we decide to go back to Louisville.
We loved staying here!! The home is beautiful and cozy! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, we spent a lot of time there. The beds were comfortable and the basement was a blast for our youngest (who is 7)! We were all adults plus her, so it was the perfect space for all ages! Great location and the host was so kind!!
Beautiful house, thoughtfully designed and laid out in a beautiful neighborhood close to everything in Louisville. Plenty of bedrooms for me and my four other friends. House management was communicative, positive, and went above and beyond, making everything super easy. Thanks again!
100% walkable neighborhood with parks, restaurants, and shops. House was perfect for family of 6 adukts but could sleep three more kids and another 2 adults comfortably. Amenities were great and communication was also top notch. Would use again
Our stay in Louisville was made better for this property and it’s owners. The home was lovely and perfect for a trip to my hometown to see family for my birthday. We had an emergency with our child but the owner allowed us much grace to stay in the property longer than a typical check out time so that we could recover. Even though they didn’t have another renter, they didn’t have to be so gracious and we really appreciated and needed the hospitality. This house is more beautiful and unique than the photos can depict. Lots of space; every kitchen utensil you could imagine, plenty of space to entertain. Perfect for large families.
The owners are a beautiful example of kindness and I hope to use their property again upon our next visit back home. Thanks again!
Had a wonderful stay with my family for Thanksgiving. House was clean and spacious. Had a ton of extras all the kitchenware you might need, cleaning products, paper products, and even holiday themed paper plates for our use. I even found nail polish remover! Hot tub was amazing. Beds were comfy. Lovely neighborhood so close to everything. Took daily walks at Cherokee park. All surrounding homes are beautiful! Can’t say enough good things about the property! Well kept. Property manager was kind and responsive! Highly recommend!
A group of girls in our family stayed in this home for a long weekend. The home was big enough to spread out. The furnishings were stylish and fun. The neighborhood is filled with gorgeous old homes, and there is a park nearby. The property manger is very responsive, and I would recommend this home!
This house was absolutely perfect for a family getaway. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed including my two younger children to have a fun and relaxing stay! We will definitely be staying here again!
Excellent location, easy communication with property host, plenty of room and lots of attention to little amenities such as a nicely stocked breakfast nook with coffee and light snacks. Well equipped kitchen that met our needs. The lower level could function as a self-contained unit, which was great for our newlywed couple in the family. On the upper level, a very nice touch in having a makeup/hair cubby that helped to extend the bathroom space. Would def rent this property again.
This is an adorable home within several great restaurants. It was also a midpoint for several bourbon tours. We also enjoyed many of the trails nearby. Plenty of room for our party. Could’ve had 4 more people stay comfortably. James was incredibly courteous and responsive.
We really enjoyed the house and found it very comfortable. It has everything we needed to hang out and cook for our little family of 4. The baby gates, high chair, pack and play, and toys were perfect! The hot tub was a nice addition for the adults. We’d definitely stay there again!
