Wonderful
Such a gorgeous clean place. The animals were a very nice bonus. It was a group of 5 60+ ladies and we enjoyed being able to look out the windows and see such beauty. Murphy, the owners dog was so friendly and loved to greet us. I have referred some of my friends. If we go back, we will stay there again.

So peaceful.
We were in town for a family wedding. My family of 5 and my husbands aunt, cousin and her son. The space of the house was amazing, it was so clean I don’t have any complaints (the kids were not to happy without the internet haha, but they made due). The owners where amazing with answering questions, never once did anything go unanswered. My 9 year old said can we just stay here forever. It was so peaceful out there, the fire Pit was great nice and big. It was cloudy at first when we started our fire then it cleared up and to see so many stars was amazing. We weren’t able to do the petting zoo due to so much going on with the wedding, the kids were disappointed about that, but we did have the dog join us a few times and the deer name Jersey came up to the house a few times, all the kids and adults loved that and got tons of pics with her. This is a wonderful house to stay at, if you are looking to slow down and just relax. Having our morning coffee outside it was dark, and peaceful. Couldn’t have booked a better place. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

Fabulous Hilltop Escape
This property was a Godsend. Peace is the overall feel of the property. The home is meticulously clean and the bedding was crisp, which is important for a vacay rental. The house is equipped with the necessary items and check in was seamless. Tammie and John were amazing with communication and were kind and warm. The morning sunrise on the hill overlooking the animals, including camels, donkey, cows, mini horses, chickens etc, was a sight to behold. Walking through the property was so cool. The home comes with a one-time entry into the petting farm, which was a HUGE hit with our small kids. The property also has a sweet dog and a “property deer” which made its way to the back door in the morning. The deer was friendly and allowed us to pet it and even gave kisses. There are several swings throughout the property, which overlook a pond with hundreds of koi fish. They have food nearby to feed them for a small 50 cent fee. Totally worth it! This is a quick 20-ish minutes from Ash Cave, Old Man’s cave etc. and it makes for a great retreat. Don’t hesitate to book this beauty! It’s worth every penny! Thank you, John and Tammie for the loveliest trip!

Sibling weekend
We all had a good time. There was a water leak behind the bathroom sink. This is the bathroom in the hallway.

So much fun
Our stay at muddy boots farm was very enjoyable. Tammie is a very friendly and hospitable host. We came here to spend a weekend away with the family and did not want to leave. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the washer and dryer were a nice surprise since they weren’t listed on the amenities list. We enjoyed spending time swinging on the swing at the koi pond, sitting around the fire pit, siting on the porch and watching the animals in the morning while we drank our coffee, and especially feeding and petting the animals at the farm. There was a baby deer running around that my 2 year old granddaughter made best friends with. We also got to see a baby calf be born. Wow what an experience. The whole weekend was amazing. Thank you Tammie and John for sharing your place with us. We will definitely be back.
