Villa with a view
The villa is at the very top of the village on a very steep hill! This was my very first time driving abroad and the drive up to the villa scared the life out of me, the roads are narrow and very steep. But it was definitely worth the drive. The villa is perfect it’s well equipped with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an extra bed in the sitting room. It has everything we needed for cooking with a well equipped kitchen and a bbq outside. The pool area is lovely- only down side is there is not much sun in the morning but great for lazy afternoons and the mountain view is idyllic. It’s also incredibly quiet and peaceful.
Ojen is a really pretty town with a few bars and restaurants serving drinks and tapas. You can walk to the town square but be prepared for the walk back up the hill!! We drove to Marbella to the supermarket but there are also a couple of convenience stores in ojen.
Juan was a great host with great communication and quickly offering help when needed. The villa was clean and clean bedding and towels mid week was lovely.
