Family from abroad stayed and had a great time. The house is clean and well equipped. Check-in instructions were easy and minimal. The location right at McKinley Park is fantastic.Highly recommended stay if you are visiting Sacramento.
The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was perfect place for me to come back to after spending the day helping my son and daughter-in-law move into their new home. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a nice selection of teas thoughtfully provided by the owner. The location is great with easy access to Business 80. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Sacramento.
This home is welcoming in every way - very clean, comfy furniture and beds, well equipped kitchen and great laundry machines/room with access to extra bedding and other supplies. I have never had the pleasure of renting a home that offered filtered water and an auto ice maker! The location is charming. McKinley Park is a lovely place to walk with a duck pond, library, playground, art center and more! And Maryellen is so helpful and accommodating. Truly a pleasure to be a guest here.
Stayed for 42 days. It was extremely charming and cozy and had a beautiful patio setting in the back yard. Had every amenity you could think of and the owner was absolutely lovely. Had to leave due to another renter moving in but it truly felt like home and so glad that we got an opportunity to stay there. Would highly recommend. I would give it 6 stars if I could. If you ever have an opportunity to stay there, you should definitely take advantage of it. Thank you so much Maryellen for sharing your lovely home with us.
We were in need of a place for my mom to stay nearby UC Davis as she recovered from a bone marrow transplant. Looking around, anything with an extra bedroom was significantly more expensive and we needed to stay for roughly 6 weeks.
Not only was the home affordable (especially after the discount for booking a longer stay), it was the warmest, most cozy place we could have hoped for. The furniture and decor in similar sized homes on Vrbo looked a little stark and cold. I knew my mom needed a place that felt like a home rather than a rental, and that’s exactly what we got.
Having dedicated off-street parking was a huge plus. The internet was blazing fast which was great and made taking zoom calls for work a breeze.
Finally, Maryellen (the owner) is just the most wonderful human. The frequent checking in to see if we needed anything or had any questions, the response time and willingness to accommodate our timing requests, and just her overall persona made this rather stressful and physically hard period so much easier on our family.
If you’re on the fence between this and other properties, I promise you will not regret staying here in any way.
Thank you again, Maryellen, for everything!
This lil park bungalow is a Beautifully remodeled home with all the amenities you could want - all the
systems are either updated or brand new and that’s important because Sacramento can get pretty warm - great backyard- Beautiful interior decor - The owner of the property is great at communications and giving you the extra information and make your stay great. Tons of great restaurants / bars / shops in the area
Had a great stay, in a comfortable pleasant neighborhood --this is a very nice house with all the comforts needed. Host was very responsive and kind. A perfect spot.
Loved the house, it had everything I needed in a great location! While there was some street noise during the day, it was very quiet at night, which I appreciated. I never got a chance to use the back patio, thanks mostly to rainy weather, but it looked beautiful.
A delightful house, close to McKinley, with everything we could want. The house was very clean, and obviously well cared for.
A safe neighborhood, with off-street parking made it perfect in every way!

Classic Sacramento Loved it
This was the perfect house for me to stay at for business, the McKinley Park area is the epitome of Sacramento. As a former longtime resident of Sacramento it was a joy to stay in this home and recapture what I loved about Sacramento, the trees, the park, Midtown plus ! I will definitely Reserve this enchanting home again, it was so nice to have Becky meet me there and walk me through the home, great lighting, comfortable bed, super nice Court yard in the back for coffee, everything about this home was just enchanting thank you so much!

Simply Amazing! You want to stay here.
This place is wonderful from top to bottom--very clean and well kept. All of the facilities and electronics are in exemplary condition and the basics are provided. We were very pleased to find extra towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry detergent, etc. We took several walks in the quiet neighborhood, and we felt very safe leaving the car parked on the street. The patio is an absolutely divine space to sit and relax. I also can't say enough positive things about the host's communication. We will be back for sure!

Sweet little house. Great location. Nice neighborhood.
Our second stay was as lovely as our first. The house is charming and has a beautiful patio where we enjoyed our coffee and breakfast every morning and wine with old friends in the evening. Nancy is always easy to work with and has made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks Nancy. We will look forward to staying there again when we visit Sacramento the next time.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this adorable cottage home in a perfect location. Very comfortable with everything you need. The AC in this home was perfect for the almost 100 degree days, and we enjoyed the outdoor space in the evenings.. Easy access to freeways too. Thank you Nancy for your personal attention to our needs.

Amazing property
We have now stayed in this beautiful property for five years. That’s a real testament to what a wonderful place it is. It’s location can’t be beat right next to the most beautiful park you can imagine, complete with Rosegarden and duck pond. I love to walk it every day. The cottage itself is cozy and impeccably decorated and the hosts anticipate our every need. We hope we can keep coming back to this little cottage for many years to come.

Perfect in every way
The location is central to everything and McKinley park (a half block away) is perfect for walks, running, etc. Everything worked well and the size is great for a couple. Easy access to the freeway, restaurants, and museums. Visit the Cosumnes Preserve for a great birding, walking experience.

A gorgeous home in a perfect part of town!
I thoroughly enjoyed my two week stay on business. It was safe and clean and incredibly welcoming after a long day at work. Pictures were accurate. Every detail truly made it feel like home. Nothing was lacking. Nancy was wonderful to work with. This was a short notice trip and I was surprised and appreciative that my request was responded to on Christmas Day. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent in Every Way
Very comfortable and organized home. Beyond the beautiful decor and nice amenities, this is a well maintained property, very clean and everything in good working order. The kitchen is well equipped with everything from dish soap to paper towels stocked for guest use - a wonderful treat! I rented this home as an alternative to a hotel on a business trip and was able to use the dining room area for a pre-meeting with colleagues making this even more cost effective. Well situated for easy access to downtown but a more tranquil setting to relax after a busy work day. The owner was very pleasant to work with and I will definitely come back next time I'm in Sacramento. No hotels for me with a wonderful house like this to stay in.

Awesome place in the best neighborhood in Sac!!!
A beautiful place in a terrific location. Attractively decorated with super comfortable beds - the foldout bed in the second bedroom is outstanding. Very quiet area and a great backyard for cookouts, eating (we ate breakfast out there most days), or just relaxing. Literally, right at McKinley Park, so a morning walk or jog in a great park is convenient, to say the least. We'll certainly try to stay there over and over again!
