It is the perfect location for a relaxing get away, located minutes from the coast, boat ramps, state & national forests, bike trail, golf and wildlife refuge. Come enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, hiking and enjoy the abundance of wildlife this area has to offer. Visit our state capital, St Marks Lighthouse, Gulf Speciman Marine Lab, Wakulla Springs, and try the local seafood.

Great getaway

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the white squirrel cottage. David went out of his way to let my kids see the chickens and guinea hens on the property. The house is so cute and cozy. I loved waking up and relaxing on the back porch. If you're looking for a nice place that's only a 30 minute commute to Tallahassee, this is a great option!

Great location!

Enjoyed this stay with our gracious hosts. The area was perfect for us, with plenty of hiking trails, sightseeing, a ND easy access to Tallahassee.

Family Weekend

We were down for FSU family weekend so we didn't really spend much time at the property, just to sleep. But it was very comfortable and clean and other than not being sure where we were in the pitch dark(that's on us), it was a great stay.

Well located, comfortable cottage

The cottage was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. It was easy to get to and ideally located for access to St Mark's National Wildlife Refuge, Wakulla Springs, a nearby golf course and other sites. Set in lovely grounds with the sights and sounds of wildlife, it was the perfect retreat for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
