This really suited our party, and was very spacious with excellent facilities. The swimming pool was large and warm and very child friendly. One point is that people should be aware that aircon is limited to downstairs. Contact with the host was very easy during the stay where necessary. Overall we thought it was a fantastic stay

French Basque getaways

We had a wonderful 7-day stay at this beautiful home in the Basque region of France with our family. The house was spacious, clean, and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. Family celebration holiday

12 individuals, easily accommodated in this superb setting. 9 rooms available, only needed 8. Available equipment was more than adequate. Will recommend this venue to any family groups.

Absolutely outstanding

The properties were absolutely superb and the view was spectacular every morning. They were fully equipped with everything you required for all ages. The swimming pool was well maintained and had a secure fence to ensure the children were safe and a large garden for them to play in. The rooms were large, cleaned to a high standard and extremely comfortable, all guests had similar size of room with access to bathrooms. We are two families who holiday together every year and these properties were by far the best we have ever stayed in.

We were a group of 10 - friends since college, now in our early 70s. The property was a delight - warm, welcoming, outdoor and indoor group dining options, a very well stocked kitchen. Lovely pool area. Responsive host. It's location is picture perfect amidst the charming towns and beaches in the Basque country. The two homes on the property provide lots of space to spread out. Enjoyed meals made by a local chef (recommended by the host). We have traveled together as a group to several destinations and agreed this was at the top of the list. Would highly recommended this Ascain property!.

Pour être venus avec la famille, nous étions 11 incluant un enfant de 18 mois. Le fait d'avoir deux maisons qui sont à proximité l'une de l'autre était tout à fait génial. Emplacement central pour visiter Biarritz, Bayonne, St-jean de Luz, Cambo les bains, La Rhune. Idéal pour les gens qui font des randonnés. Le fait d'avoir une piscine, c'est idéal après une journée de visite. Aussi la maison principale est très bien équipés pour cuisiner. La communication avec l'hôte se fait de façon fluide. Je recommande cette location.Martine

We were two families and had a great time at these houses during our holidays in the south of France. The houses are in perfect conditions, the swimming pool very clean, the garden is fantastic and the landscape amazing. The owner was extremely responsive during our stay. Super séjour entre amis

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce cadre idyllique. Tres belle vue sur la Rhune, jardin magnifique, chouette piscine, le tout au calme. Les maisons sont superbement décorées, on se sent comme à la maison. Jade et Martin, nos contacts sur place, ont été super reactifs et à notre écoute. En un mot, tout était parfait. On reviendra.

Vacances entre amis

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine entre amis à Ascain dans ces très belles maisons qui ont beaucoup de charme et de cachet, très joliement décorées et où un esprit de famille reigne de pièce en pièce. Nous y sommes venus en été, et je pense qu’à chaque saison elles doivent être agréables. Il y a une très belle cheminée par exemple. Ces propriétés sont situées dans un écrin de verdure face à la Rune: chaque matin à l’ouverture des volets c’est un enchantement, et nous pouvons saluer les vaches de la ferme d’à côté . On se sent au calme et sereins et en même temps à proximité de la côte et des plages. La communication avec le propriétaire était parfaite. Il a été d’une grande gentillesse et disponible à l’écoute de nos besoins concernant tous les détails de l’organisation de notre séjour. Je recommande à 100% ces maisons. Merci beaucoup
