This VRBO was exactly what we were looking for. So much more comfortable than a hotel plus very reasonable in price. We travel with our dog and the location of the River Walk made it perfect for all of us.
This was my second stay at River Row flats. It’s a great place for visiting Asheville. The property manager is warm and personable and very helpful when I couldnt remember my entry code! It’s perfectly located for downtown or the river arts district. I definitely recommend and will very likely return again.
The unit was very functional, it's a well appointed hotel room. Property manager was excellent, we needed a hair drier and she had it there in 15 minutes. Noise from room above was loud.
The place was nice, however, we were on the bottom and the entire time we were there the renters above us walked all night. The television was on all night and we could hear that, too. No sleep for us.
Overall, a great place to stay in Asheville! Belgium Brewing is just up the street, easy walk and a great place to relax with a beer right next to the river. We found the property to be on the noisy side; it’s a fairly busy street. Also, as we were on the first floor, Very Noisy if guests right above you, or cleaning in process. That said, it’s perfect for 2 people, and a very quick drive to local attractions! We would stay here again and loved visiting Asheville!
never slept in a temperpedic bed before and my husband who has a form of parkinson disease could not get comfortable or move in the bed. Also we had to run the hot water for at least 15 minutes before it got luke warm to hot. nice location. Nancy was super in trying to accommodate us. We left a day early.
Beautiful property and very clean! Great location for walking to the arts district!
Property was as photos showed with extra touches of a beautiful dog bed and local coffee and chocolate treats for us! Owner was quick to message, confirm and ensure all questions were answered. Easy checkout!
Perfect property to relax during our wedding weekend!
This was the perfect property to stay during our wedding weekend. It was close to everything and we were able to relax and hang out by the river before the wedding festivities started. Can’t wait to stay here again when we travel back to AVL. Thank you so much for the perfect stay!
Great experience! The unit was very clean, and the property manager is very kind and attentive. It felt like the best sides of a hotel and air b&b. We were given fresh linens and coffee upon arrival, and upon request. We were able to enjoy the unit as an air b&b, without having the daily housecleaning of a hotel. We stayed midweek, and it was very quiet. The area felt safe, and my family and I would definitely recommend staying here.
My partner and I came down for a three night getaway. The location is perfect. A $6 Uber ride from everything you want to do in town. The kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking. The bed was very comfortable. It’s a beautiful space. We traveled with our small dogs and they had plenty of room to play ball and not be under our feet. The hostess was fantastic and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.
This property is in a great location just outside of downtown (5-7 min) but still out of the hustle and bustle without the issue of hunting down a parking spot! The property was very clean and we had everything we needed. The king size bed was super comfy!
I, however, would not recommend this place if you’re a super light sleeper or if you’re traveling with pets that are bothered by noises around them. The walls a fairly thin and you can hear the neighbors throughout the day and night. This is especially true of the upstairs neighbors.
Overall this really is a great place if this type of noise doesn’t bother you or your pets. I myself, could have slept right through the noise if my dogs could have too 😩. I LOVED the convenient proximity to downtown!!
Great location! Easy walk to New Belgium Brewery. Close enough to downtown but just out of the way enough to be low key and quiet. Nice room with lots of space, full kitchen and big bathroom. Would stay again.
Very comfortable and spacious studio with a full kitchen and large bathroom, and very nice furnishings. Loved the location in West Asheville near biking/walking paths and, of course, a brewery!!
River Row Flats is owned by two local entrepreneurs who love Asheville and who are deeply involved in the local community, including the arts and outdoors scenes. Coming from the real estate and construction businesses (Jody Guokas owns JAG Construction and Mike Figura owns Mosaic Realty), when the opportunity to do a larger project came up, they jumped on the opportunity and hired a professional property manager, Nancy Chick, who has years of experience running and managing hotels.
Why they chose this property
We built River Row Flats to offer a boutique hotel experience in the River Arts District. Realizing that there was a lack of lodging in the River Arts District, and that many people who are coming to Asheville want to be in an urban walkable area but not necessarily in downtown Asheville, we picked a location across the street from New Belgium Brewing and on the new Greenway system, and we designed a small modern hotel that blends with the surrounding area.
