Otoch Mayan Falls is a great place to come with big groups. Each has their individual apartment with a kitchenette and a full kitchen, bathroom, and living area. Even though you all have your own privacy, you can join at the common area. Grill something tasty and enjoy the sunset from the rooftop. If you feel like doing some activity, the property can also provide you with eight kayaks that you can take to the ocean, just a short walk away.

Mayan Falls is located on the south side of the island in a relaxed environment with an abundance of green vegetation. You can walk to the beach or go a few blocks north to enjoy some local food. Wish Willy's is one mile north and you must try their barbecued seafood! Caye Caulker has much to offer for adventures. You can book a scuba diving or snorkeling trip, go fishing, or enjoy some time kayaking and paddle boarding around the island.

Very nice, too far to walk

I didn’t know how far this would be from the center where you get off the water taxi. I recommend a golf cart or taxi. The property is just down from the airport and is safe and quiet around you. We love Caye caulker and will be back.

Beautiful place, accommodating host

Raul, the property manager, is awesome. Happy to quickly respond to any concerns and very friendly. The property is beautiful; pool, bar, gazebo - all awesome. The living room is pretty hard to access (in the room on the roof, and you have to go through a bedroom to get to it), but otherwise, the property is great. Word to the wise: It's a block from the airport so I def recommend taking a flight to BZE (90, beautiful, quick) instead of the ferry (22 30 taxi 1.5 total hours transport time). Both run on island time so keep that in mind.Second word to the wise: Try to correspond directly with Raul on WhatsApp; he's great. Whoever is responding to the VRBO messages is very unaccommodating.

Better than expected, too far to walk

The concierge was very nice to work with and was accommodating to our large group that arrived early. Rent a golf cart or catch a taxi, was too far to walk, even for me and my husband who are very active and healthy. With the heat it’s just unnecessary to sweat that much and the golf carts are not too expensive.

We rented the whole unit for a large family. The pool was fantastic and it was nice there was a locking gate to the property. It was quiet and the views from the roof deck were fabulous. Wasn't really seats/chairs or other ways for the group to gather at the property though.
