About this property

Muddy Feet Retreat - A Cozy Cabin on the Loyalsock Creek

A great place to relax and unwind from the everyday. Our creekside cabin is perfect for families looking to enjoy the ambiance of the Loyalsock Creek.

Property offers a full kitchen; with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, pots and pans, etc. Washer and dryer are on site.

Centerpiece of the downstairs is a 10 person, live-edge, butternut table with a view of the creek; perfect for family dinners, cards or games, and making memories. Enjoy your mornings and evenings overlooking the Loyalsock from our screened in porch, at the pub table or Adirondack chairs.

Cabin includes two bedrooms; bedroom 1 has a full bed, bedroom 2 has two twin lofts over two queen beds, sleeps 8. Property has a half bath in the downstairs, and a three-fourths bath upstairs.

WiFi is available, while cell service is limited.

**Our cabin is elevated to be out of the floodplain. Access to the first floor is via a flight of stairs.

We are within 1 mile of Pier 87 Restaurant and Consolidated Sportsmen of Lycoming County. Short drive to State Game Lands, Ryder Park, Sullivan County, or downtown Williamsport.

**We are located across the road from a shooting range, hearing shots is typical, but not bothersome.

***Please note that our driveway is a little steep and rocky. We have family and renters in and out in cars and minivans a lot. No one has had an issue, just an FYI.

To enjoy your time at the creek, we have Adirondack chairs, a fire pit, both gas and Blackstone grills, an outdoor table and chairs, hammocks, and a swinging bed that overlooks the creek. Challenge your friends at cornhole or other outdoor and indoor games. Enjoy the creek while fishing, kayaking (kayaks not provided), or just cool off in the water. *Please note, creek levels rise and fall rapidly, we recommend you use caution and enter the creek at your own risk.

We hope your family can enjoy this property as much as ours has. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Great Spot for LLWS Stay
Location worked well for the Little League World Series, only 20 minute drive. Beds were comfortable and met our needs. Kitchen was spacious and provided all of necessary accessories. Loved the dining room table great for playing games. The screened in porch was tranquil and had a fire around the fire-pit which had plenty of seating. Yes, the entrance is steep but in no way negates staying at this property. If you can drive, you can handle this with no problem.

Don’t Hesitate
Better than I expected. Very nice property with a nice size yard and right along the river. Easy to cook anything you want and a lot of nice outdoor seating. So many cool things to try in the area as well. Definitely will be coming back.

Totally dangerous entrance/exit
I was completely disappointed with this rental. The entrance/exit is totally dangerous. the exit puts you right on the highway with traffic coming right at you. I had to gun it to pull out. I would not recommend this to anyone. the actual drive was just two huge ruts where you were suppose to drive. the cabin was ok but the drive ruined it. I refused to stay but only one nite. Beware! It definitely was not worth what they stole from me!!!

Great place to get away for a week!
The house was very clean with a great view of the creek! (We saw 2 deer walking across the creek!) There are ample comfortable places to relax at this house and variety of things to do. At the house we sat around the campfire (the supply of fire wood is a very nice touch!), relaxed in the hammock and on the outdoor furniture, sat on the screened in porch, played cornhole, and played in the creek. There was also a supply of board games but we didn't have time to enjoy them. We made a couple of day trips to World's End State Park to do some hiking and fishing. The house was well stocked with everything you need to make a variety of meals (including grills) and we also went out to eat at Pier 87 and got philly cheesesteaks at Big Mike's in Forksville, both of which I highly recommend. The creek was too low for fishing and probably too late in the year to catch any stocked trout but I anticipated that. Cell service (Verizon) was spotty at the house but we were still able to make phone calls. Great place to get away with the family for week!
