Clear Lake Lodge #2 ** Plenty of Parking * Close to Lake and Bar
Awesome lodge located right in the heart of Clear Lake ( officially Foster Township), just 15 minutes from I-75, as well as from West Branch, Rose City and St. Helen.
This lodge is ideal for vacationers who need a lot of beds, or just want more space to relax. There are two rooms. The main room is an open floor plan including a bar with a full sink and refrigerator, 5 twin beds (and room for more) couch, chairs and tables, and a Foosball table . There is a half bath, wheel chair accessible. This space is 900 sq ft.
Charcoal grill, coffee maker, linens, towels and paper products are provided. We also have a fire pit (firewood can be purchased at the corner store) and horseshoe pits.
The lodge is located on a corner lot just across from Clear Lake, and yards from the Clear Lake Party Store, DNR boat launch, Clear Lake Bar & Grill, also the Side Door Restaurant. The property is about a quarter acre, with room to set up yard games and have a campfire.
Across the street, Clear Lake has a marina with pontoon, fishing boats, & kayaks with dock space rentals, a public boat launch and beach. May want to call ahead to reserve boat or dock space. It is a beautiful all sports lake.
About a mile away is a public park with tennis courts, softball diamond, covered picnic area, barbecue grills and a basketball court also swings and slides.
The lodge is just 15 minutes from several towns which have golf courses, restaurants and bars. West Branch has 3 golf courses as well as an outlet mall and many nice restaurants, fast food, bars, a cinema, bowling alleys, and putt putt golf..
There are several lakes in addition to Clear Lake, for fishing and boating. There are rivers for canoeing & tubing within 25 miles. The area is also very popular with hunters (state land), off road riders and a trail head 2 miles away at the Ogemaw National Forest, there are plenty of trails for all of your favorite outdoor activities (ATV's can travel on the side of the road). Hiking and bike trails are 5 miles away with car parking.
