The cabin was very clean and it was stocked with everything we needed. The property is located on a beautiful lake and we used the supplied canoe to explore the lake. The beds were very comfortable. We loved staying here and would definitely rent again if we visit the area again!

We had a great time at Mikes cottage on the lake. Mike was lovely host and easy to communicate with. The cottage has stunning views and has many activities which made it hard to leave!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the lake. Despite some bad weather, we managed get out for a paddle in the canoe and kayaks everyday. Our host was helpful and responsive to our questions during the booking process, and check-in instructions were clear and easy. The pictures don't do it justice - the cottage has lots of natural light and lovely views of the lake. We hope to be back next year!

Incredible stay!

To say we got lucky getting in to this property would be an understatement. We managed to book this cottage last minute, and could not have been happier. Great, easy communication with the owner, every amenity you could ever ask for (and some we didn’t even know we wanted!), and a beautiful location all in one. Already thinking about coming back next year!

Beautiful

Everything was wonderful. The manager at the property was fantastic and the area beautiful. I would definitely rent this property again and recommend it to all my friends and family. It just felt like home being there during our stay. It was only an hour away from the bay of Fundy and an hour and 15 minutes to Chester and Halifax. Perfect location.

It was an easy process, communication with Mike was good. The cottage was lovely and clean and well supplied. The deck and yard were lovely. The beach was amazing as was the dock. There were numerous outdoor games as well as water toys with life jackets. My husband and I, our daughter and son in law and 2 grandchildren all stayed and the space was very comfortable for all 6 of us.

Beautiful Lakefront Cottage

Loved our stay at this beautiful well stocked cottage. We enjoyed our time here with our two granddaughters ages 4 and 5 1/2. We all loved swimming from the dock and the kayaking. Numerous board games and books to keep them entertained while indoors! Michael out host was very helpful and quick to respond to our queries. Perfect place for a little vacation. Hope we have the the opportunity to return to this little piece of paradise. Thanks for such a comfortable stay.

A Great Vacation Home

The cottage is well built and more expensive appliances and fixtures. Everything you could possibly want for a stay is there and perhaps two of them. The beach is probably one of the better ones on the lake and lots of toys to keep one busy. Can not think of one thing against the cottage except a grab bar would reassuring in the shower. Wonderful week vacation.

Great Cottage

We had a fantastic time. The cottage is beautiful and very clean. Communication with owner was friendly and easy. If you love to ski (like us) it’s a quick drive to Ski Martock. We look forward to hopefully booking again but during warmer months to enjoy the lake.

Gorgeous cottage!

Me and my husband stayed Dec 24-28, 2021. What a beautiful cottage. 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a beautiful ensuite with large walk-in shower. We loved it. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. The pellet stove is super warm and cozy and very easy to use. We expect to be staying in this cottage again as it’s exactly what we needed for a Christmas getaway. The view of the lake and surroundings is perfect. The owners were great to communicate with and replied quickly. Thank you!

Great Getaway

Great location and nice property. The cottage was perfect for two families with kids! It had everything we needed (from a well appointed kitchen, to beach towels, canoes, kayaks etc). The outdoor areas were great, the water was shallow at first so the kids could wade in, the covered patio set was perfect for outdoor dinners, and it was nice to have a fire right by the water. The cottage was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Overall a great stay, would definitely go back!

We were very comfortable and pleased with this well outfitted cottage.

This cottage was ideal for our needs. We chose it to accommodate 3 adults, one of whom is elderly. Everything on one floor, a walk in shower in the ensuite was perfect. This is the perfect place for a 3 generation family . The only thing I would add is a grab bar in the walk in shower. Mike was so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful family cottage in Falls Lake

This cottage located on Falls Lake has a private beach, docking area and enclosed screen insect protected seating area. The amenities are outstanding with kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and life jackets to suit all age ranges. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms one of which is ensuite. There is a bbq and fire pit as well as a private beach. The kitchen is very well equipped and supplied with cooking utensils and more than the basics of a summer home. There is a microwave and dishwasher as well as a laundry room. TV and excellent internet service. Can highly recommend this property. The owner was very prompt in responding to our requests and very accommodating. A great family retreat.

5-star cottage!

Mike's cottage was everything we were looking for and more. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean, modern and well equipped with great views of the lake. We really enjoyed having the use of the canoe and kayaks and were on the water most days. One of the best cottage rentals we've ever had and we would definitely return!!

Great lakefront spot

Our four boys loved it, wore them out each day. Almost no flies. Gorgeous sunrise. It was great to use the kayaks and even better to get them in the water. Surprisingly quiet spot considering the number of properties nearby but still felt private. Would recommend it for anyone needing a few days of serenity and definitely for a family with kids who swim to have it all in one spot. Always worried that the kids might damage something but this place has a feel of a home away from home and hope we Left no trace. Nice distance to pop in to the city on a rainy day :)
