3 level beauty with great views from your front porch! This home features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a basement. There is an intimate front and back porch with beautiful views. You are within walking distance to the local shops and eateries. And take the time to unwind with a stroll down one of many hiking trails or sit along the banks of the lakes in town. The residence is just 15 short minutes from Cuchara, home of the stunning Spanish Peak Mountains.

Disclosure: This property is a duplex. There is a shared door on the main floor that will remain locked unless a renter decides to rent out both sides. If entire duplex is rented it can hold a total of approximately 17-20+ ppl including couches and air mattresses if need be.

Family

We were 8 brothers & 1 sister, poor girl !! We have lost, 2 too early. 1 of us is alive, but due to Agent Orange & Viet Nam, he sets in a cocoon of dementia @ the Veterans Administration neurological hospital in Walsenburg CO. The cabin gave us the space to breathe and the perfect amount of amenities to feed our appetites of food fun & reflection. We could not have had a better gathering, Thank you

Great Family Reunion Home

Very nice home with lots of extras supplied by owner such as dishwashing liquid, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent etc. Lots of towels! Well equipped kitchen and nice gas grill. Owners are quick to respond to questions. We will would stay here again!

Great place to stay!

We loved the property! The rooms were great and worked for our needs. Even though it was summer, the rooms had portable ac units that helped keep the temp down. There was also a great selection of cookware so we could cook and eat together. A few mornings we got to see deer in the backyard- such a nice surprise! La Veta is a wonderful town - the people are super friendly and we had an amazing time exploring the local area....definitely recommend visiting the ice cream shop in Charlie's!

Family of 9 Adults

We came as a family group with 9 adults, and found the cabin to be spacious and well-equipped for our needs. It was a good location to walk into town, and it was nice to see the deer out front. Keri was very responsive and flexible.
