Excellent value especially if you're looking for a spot in the Fort Garland area. Quiet, secluded, spacious - very spacious, with high speed internet in case you're looking to work remotely. The kitchen was perfect for cooking especially since you probably won't be eating out much in Costilla County. The host even greeted us through their Ring doorbell.

We loved our stay at Hummingbird Hideaway - it’s a clean, well appointed and quiet place to return to when your day is done (or when you need a nap if I’m honest :-) We enjoyed coffee and yoga on the deck in the morning and a glass of something with sunset and stars. Our dog’s favorite activity was chasing chipmunks - although she didn’t catch any and no animals were harmed. The owners respond to any questions promptly and are both helpful and friendly. If you are in the area, we highly recommend staying here!
