About this property

Cozy, spacious and inviting chalet house facing the woods in Pocono PA in Big Bass Lake gated community (2000 sq. ft). Beginning of Lehigh River running through the backyard.
While this house can accommodate up to 14 people comfortably, community allows max 12. Includes swing set in the backyard.

Located 25 minutes away from Camelback ski and water park, Mount Airy Casino Resort and 15 min from Kalahari Water resorts. Big Boulder and Jack Frost mountains are just 35 minutes away.

Lovely spot in the woods

Hosts were amazingly communicative and responsive (even late at night when I got confused by lack of flat sheets; duvet covers instead), and were even sweet enough to come by with a sweet card and some candy for our ten-year wedding anniversary. The setting is just gorgeous, and would only be made more perfect (subjectively) if the surrounding houses were further away; did have some noisy neighbors one night but only heard them when we were outside. The place was very clean, even addressing the cleaning themselves when their regular housekeeper didn't show up. The ground/basement level is admittedly damp despite constant dehumidifier going but we didn't really use it. Was very grateful there were some delivery options around and the neighborhood being gated made no difference.

Awesome Location!

Had a weekend here with my friends and everything with this house was amazing! Plenty of room in the house (had a group of 9 people), lots of appliances, plenty of TVs with streaming devices, and basically everything in the description accurately portrays this house. Having the creek and all the trees in the background give this house the perfect backyard. Owner is very responsive to and you know you and your group is safe within this gated community, but it's also nice to have the properties separated enough where you have your personal space. Will definitely recommend to anyone else visiting here!
