This beautiful Pocono Lakefront Vacation Home is located on a secluded private lake within gated amenity filled community. Our home is the perfect retreat for those looking for an activity filled or a relaxing get away.

The home offers 2000 square feet of comfort including over 120 ft of lake front property, a large deck (dining area, grill), a natural dock area, wooden dock, boat and 2 kayaks (available May thru October), yard and a fire pit. Indoors offers 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, Full over twin bunk bed with twin trundle and 2 sofa beds), 2 full bathrooms, family room (pool table, dvd player, Wii, flat screen cable TV, Wood fireplace, radio), living room (flat screen cable tv, DVD player, Radio, Gas Fireplace), fully equipped kitchen and dining area, garage space and separate laundry room. Other amenities include Movies/Book/Wii Game library, Board Games, and wireless internet. We also have the following baby items: Stroller, Attachable booster seat, pack and play and baby gates.

Explanation of fees:
1. Taxes - There is a combined 9% sales tax charged by the state of Pennsylvania and Monroe County.
2. Property Fee - The gated community the home resides in charges a $50 fee for every short term property rental.
3. Cleaning Fee - After each rental, a professional cleaning company thoroughly clean the house and washes all towel/bed linens.

The community amenities include: Playground, Basketball courts, tennis courts, Lake front beach, 2 swimming pools, paddle boat rentals and ice skating. Please note that the community charges a fee to use the pool. It is currently $12 per person per day, but that can change at any time without notice to the owners. Unfortunately there are no multiple days/week passes being offered by the community.

However, you can enjoy your water activities directly from our property. This includes swimming, fishing, boating or just enjoying sunning your self on the dock.

We had great privacy and comfort in a busy community. One of the best equipped kitchens we have seen. It was so relaxing and easy to use this property. Spent most of our time on the lake. Very relaxing.

Feels just like home

This was a wonderful, spacious, but still warm and cozy getaway for me and my family to spend time enjoying the holidays together in what felt like a real home away from home. The owners were wonderful, friendly and very accommodating, and the house was stocked with everything we could have ever needed to prepare a wonderful Christmas dinner and fresh baked desserts to go with. I have never seen a kitchen so well equipped in any other property I have rented . Would definitely go back!

Fun place, good location

It could use a little brightening and was a little dusty. Overall though it was nice. The location right on the lake was great. The kayaks and boat were fun. Enough room for our family of 5 plus my parents. Neighbors on one side are close but weren't too loud. Saw deer and ducks in yard.

Our stay was great! Theresea and John were fabulous hosts and easy to reach at any time! The house is truly fully stocked with all the amenities you could need for a large family gathering. We stayed seven days during Christmas and were able to prepare and host dinners each night for the extended family that came to visit us during our stay. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare food during your stay without the worry of bringing your own pans, utensils, etc., or buying items once there. We had plenty of space to accommodate our family of eight in sleeping arrangements. The downstairs area was a great hangout spot for both kids and adults.
We tried to make the stay as much like home as possible!
The pond froze over and the guys went out on the ice and did some ice fishing.

Great summer vacation

I rented this house to spend some time with my sister. Our husbands and my adult son joined us. We all had a great time. From kayaking on the beautiful lake to just sitting out on the deck at night laughing about family memories it was perfect. We played many rounds of pool and cooked every night. The kitchen had everything we needed! We would highly recommend this house. The owners are great to work with and the area is beautiful.

Perfect Cozy Home

Our 2 families were in town for a cheer competition at Kalahari. This home is a short distance to many things in the area but you still feel secluded. It was too cold to truly enjoy the lake but we enjoyed waking up to the view in the morning. The home has everything you need in the kitchen. Owner’s are very friendly and responsive. Would definitely rent again if in the area.

A family favorite

This is my second time visiting this property, with my husband and all of our adult children and their spouses. We just love the beautiful, serene, lake house feel, and the overall layout and comfort of the home. The house is well cared for and was super clean when we arrived. It is well appointed, with every amenity that you might hope for while away, including a fully equipped kitchen, DVD player, Home stereo, comfy mattresses and pillows and just all the same touches you would want in your own home. I am a frequent renter of vacation properties and this is the only home that I have ever rented that actually has enough pots/ pans/ utensils and every other kitchen tool needed if you plan to cook while on vacation. The owners John and Theresea are super responsive, caring and thoughtful. My family just adores the house and the area. We definitely hope to return for a third time in the future!!!

Can’t wait to go back

John and Theresa’s house on the water was perfect for our way too short getaway. We enjoyed using the kayaks and exploring the community via the water. The house was not super ritzy or remodeled but it was in our opinion, the perfect vacation home. It had that homey feel, like we were staying at a family members place. We were able to enjoy each other’s company and unplug while still having the opportunity to check our emails. We know we’ll be back!

Great for a short weekend

One of the nicer houses in the community (properties are pretty run down). Great waterfront location, nice deck, and kayaks were a major plus! The house could use some serious lighting upgrades. It was really dark inside, almost no natural light plus dark wood paneling and brown shag carpet. Then again, we weren’t there to be inside.

Pros: - lakefront - clear instructions from owners - kayaks, bikes for kids, stroller, all nicely organized in the garage Cons: - waisted an hour in line to get access to community - my sister got there by cab and they didn't want to let the cab in because the driver wasn't announced by owners, it took us some convincing to let the taxi in so he could drop her off. We had to take my sis to the gate for pickup upon departure because of the same issue. - house is very dark. Dark brown old paneling, small windows, and a bunch of lamps with shades that don't produce enough light. Extremely depressing. - I had an issue with cleanliness. Definitely not up to my standards. Bathrooms were clean, but side tables in the bedroom had sticky residue, my sister found someone's sock under her bed, windows are long overdue for a good clean from millions of dead mosquitos, spider nets everywhere. Kitchen is just very old, everything you touch is sticky. Worn off carpets. - next door neighbor's house is literally on the backyard. They are still under construction, but there is no privacy whatsoever. We lucked out with the weather. It was nice and sunny. So we spent all of our time outside: kayaking, fishing, grilling, sitting by the fire... And all in all we enjoyed our stay.

Great location for a group ski trip
