Great house for a group gathering. Lots of space and very comfortable. Took a little bit of time to heat up with some rooms warmer than others but overall not a problem. The green room and celestial suite were lovely spaces, the large dining table great for special meals. We probably needed more time to use all the facilities but great to have them available
Property was excellent. Second time we as a family have stayed here. It never fails to impress. Only downside was a couple of the mattress protectors were a bit brown in colour perhaps needing replaced. Apart from that everything was excellent from chatting with Jennifer our host and Paul who met us on both occasions who obviously loves the house and his love is quite clearly shown when he talks to you. We had our 6. Month old puppy with us we had his crate in the bedroom with us which was fine lots of lovely walks as well the enclosed garden area at the back was ideal to let him wander about too A great house for family and a great place for your pets. We will be back next year for sure .
Our 4th time staying at this amazing house- everything you need for family of all ages from 6years to 80 years old, love the feel of the house and the facilities - hot tub, swimming pool and bar are our faves - and love the grand dining room! Looking forward to coming again!

Very nice place. Loads to do and we had brilliant weather. Will definitely stay again.
Amazing stay, we love the location, the facilities and the variety of spaces to be in really works well for the mix of our family. We had a wonderful stay. Lots of bathrooms helps with bigger groups, the gardens and pool are such a bonus and the courtyard space we spent the whole weekend outdoors enjoying the birdsong and lovely weather.
The house is amazing. No need to wonder too far and the amenities are great. Had my daughters 21st birthday here and she loved the experience with her family and close friends. I loved cooking in that kitchen and eating in that dining room. Bedrooms are where you want to sleep surrounded by art and architecture with the occasional crafts shoved in. The building and it's grounds are purposeful and the antiquity to die for. Thanks for the memory. Robert
What a lovely place. It is a beautiful home with lots of things to do just inside the home itself, not including the outside. Just 4.5 miles to the border with Scotland, if you like staying inside or like driving (that's us), this is the place for you. Unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of some of the outdoor things, due to the weather but everything looked beautiful.
Great stay! The house was perfect and just what we wanted. There were a few problems but the hosts resolved them promptly once contacted. Would love to stay here again there was so much to keep you busy as well as feeling like a real retreat. Super comfy beds.
Everyone Loved the stay. 14 of us plus a babystayed 4 nights to celebrate my 70 birthday! We took all the food with us and 4 couples had a night each to feed everyone and it worked out great. It is very impressive and the cinema and games rooms are brilliant. Left this morning and hopefully be back again at some point.
Stayed here for 4 nights with son and grandchildren and their partners for our 80th birthday. Had a super time, swimming and hot tubs, games room and cinema room, we all loved it. Lovely house and space for everyone.
Cleugh Manor can only be described as amazing. The standard of all rooms was extremely high with an eclectic mix of styles throughout. The kitchen and all bathrooms were up to the latest standards and the celestial suite with the windows to the stars including a telescope was stunning. The games room, gym and cinema were lovely features and the use of the swimming pool and hot tubs was an added bonus
Amazing house, loads of facilities, My family had a great time staying here for a long weekend, especially the grandchildren so much for them to do, photos don't do it justice,we would highly recommend it .
Multi generation stay at the large secluded property. The house had a large number of amenities- swimming pool / tennis’s court / snooker table / hot tubs to name a few so we were all entertained during our stay . Large modern kitchen to cater for our group and a large dining room so could all sit together. Plenty of room to escapee for peace and quiet too! Welcome by host good and fyi you can get online shopping delivered which is handy as no local corner shop! Beautiful setting and everybody had a good time
Great house lots of character, kids loved the cinema, games room, gym, courts and pool. Great family kitchen with everything you need. Rooms comfortable and jacuzzi’s and sauna were fab. Hopefully will stay again soon.
