The huge south facing Pool Terrace with views over both Kalkan and Kalamar Bays is the perfect spot for sunbathing, swimming, relaxing in the jacuzzi, dining, sipping a cocktail at the bar or enjoying sundowners whilst appreciating the amazing views from the shaded lounge area. Equipped with 8 comfortable Sun Loungers with parasols, external Dining Table seating up to 10, contemporary sofa seating, a marble wet bar with bar stools and of course the requisite barbecue for those occasional nights when you're not tempted by the delights of Kalkan's renowned restaurants!

In addition you can escape the sun and get a little more active in the shaded area playing Table Tennis, Air Hockey or Pool or perhaps backgammon or chess at the games table: Ideal for children and teens!

Inside, Villa Amycha is just as impressive; - with 220m2 of built area it is spacious and airy and has fabulous views from all rooms. The open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen is fully equipped and tastefully and comfortably furnished in a contemporary style. There is WiFi throughout, Apple TV and full DigiTurk digital channel provision giving a vast array of English language Movies, News, Sports & Children's channels on all 3 TVs in the property.

There are 3 Ensuite Double Bedrooms, an Ensuite Twin Bedroom and a Single Bedroom. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, all have hairdryers, and all, except the single room, have private balconies or terrace with amazing views over the pool, Kalkan and both Kalkan and Kalamar Bays. Both the Master bedroom and the second Guest Bedroom have flatscreen TVs.

There is a fully equipped kitchen & laundry room for your personal use, but a stay at Villa Amycha is guaranteed to be relaxing as daily maid service, the services of a gardener/pool man and fresh bread delivery every morning is included: A truly luxurious and relaxing break in scenic surroundings in a fabulous location!!

IMPORTANT NOTE
Due to a number of stone steps the villa is not suitable for those with mobility issues. Parents please be aware that although we do have a stair-gate on the external staircase leading to the pool terrace, there are no stair-gates inside the villa.
Very young babies are welcome and a travel cot and high chair can be provided. Children of any age must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

No floatation devices such as lilos, inflatable boats or similar to be used in the pool by children without responsible adult supervision due to the potential to float over the sheer edge of the infinity pool.

Most enjoyable stay at this lovely villa for my family and friends. We have stayed in a few very nice villas in Kalkan but this was our favourite and ticked all the boxes for our stay. The view is spectacular and a lovely distance walk into town downhill in the evening. The villa was well kept and the daily bread, daily cleaning of the villa and option for breakfast service was great, a very nice touch indeed. The pool and garden area is very well looked after too. We were provided with a lot of information prior to and during our stay which was also very welcome especially when travelling with a group. We all love Kalkan and believe it is the ultimate family villa destination, it really does cater for all. Thanks very much!

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Amycha, everything was perfect. The villa was beautiful with an amazing view. The sunbeds were the most comfortable we have ever come across. We spent most days around the pool, it was too good to leave. Kalkan was delightful, we will definitely be back.

Fabulous villa

Lovely villa, with beautiful outside space which we used a lot. The walk into town was short but quite hard because of the hills, however the taxis were readily available and really inexpensive so we tended to use them all the time. The bedrooms were all spacious and the whole villa was kitted out really well. A dream holiday enjoyed by the whole group

We really enjoyed our stay here. The villa is modern, comfortable, spacious, nicely equipped and has very effective air con throughout. The sea view has a real wow factor, and the terrace is great - with an inviting pool, lots of sun-loungers, other seating areas and a large dining table - all of which we made good use of. We also took advantage of the air hockey and table-tennis tables. The host was exceptionally helpful, supplying lots of useful local information, and communication was excellent. We found it very helpful that there are staff who come every morning to do cleaning etc, and they will also make a cooked breakfast and cut fruit if ingredients are provided - although we often had to skip this service as they could only do around 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. by which time we were usually out and about. The area is extremely hilly, and it was too hot (in August) to do much walking, so we mostly used a car or taxis to get around locally. We found some very good restaurants in the town. We also enjoyed family-friendly sandy beach at Patara which is about 20 minutes away by car/taxi. We found Kas well worth a visit and also the spectacular Saklikent gorge.

If your thinking about a holiday in Kalkan and Villa Amycha is available then do not hesitate to book . Absolutely stunning Villa and the view is nothing short of breath taking . The small touches arranged make all the difference. Being met at the Villa on arrival by Kadir his daily visits to deliver bread , check the supply of water for the cooler ,clean the pool and maintain the garden also housekeeping by his lovely wife Ayfer .We rang Ayhan daily for our taxi trips , had Lauren from Wildflour catering cook for us which was beyond amazing .The boat trip on Pina X was wonderful and the food served throughout was fantastic .Joanna made everything so easy and was unbelievably helpful throughout . We also have to thank Tarik who helped out with an unexpected dental problem .Nothing was too much for this wonderful team and the warmth and friendliness of the local people will make you want to return . Villa Amycha and Kalkan is something special .

We spent 10 days at Villa Amycha and it was perfect in every way.Lovely spacious villa with a beautiful view and the view across Kalkan bay is out of this world.Tariq, Kadir and his wife were on hand to help whenever we had any small issues.The breakfast service was lovely - but as we like to slob out on holiday we stopped it after a few days as we didn't want to be on any kind of timescale.The villa is a steep 15 minutes walk to the edge of the town centre, and about 10 more minutes to the harbour. There is a taxi rank in town and the fare back was about 4.Kalkan is a lovely place. Packed with restaurants and bars, buzzy and atmospheric without being overly touristy. No high-rise hotels or karaoke bars here. The beach clubs are also great - we visited both Kalamar and Zest.Our favourite restaurant was Coriander, which is slightly out of the town centre and bit cheaper. The staff were lovely and the food is amazing.The one thing we did notice about Kalkan since we last visited 15 years ago were the prices. It is no longer a cheap option with prices on a par to those throughout Europe. But despite that, it didn't feel like we were being ripped off in any way as the food and service we received was always top notch.Overall, we couldn't fault the villa in any way and will definitely be back.

Sublime stay in Kalkan

If you are contemplating a holiday in Kalkan and Villa Amycha is available then seriously do not hesitate to book this incredible villa. Heavenly views across the bay, perfectly located above Kalkan accessible by either a downhill stroll or short taxi ride (taxis are plentiful and good value). Every detail has been considered to make the villa the perfect spot to luxuriate by the pool, drink cocktails at your very own outdoor bar or slumber in the comfortably appointed bedrooms. Joanna the owner together with her local team will see that everything you need for your holiday is taken care of. Villa Amycha sets a very high bar for future holidays, it may just be the case we have to return again to avoid any risk of disappointment.

Excellent. It has everything you could possibly need for a week of relaxation in the sun.

We just came back from Villa Amycha a week ago and we had a superb time. I went with my family and five year old son (9 of us in total) and it was definitely the best villa I have ever stayed in. It is very well equipped, extremely clean and the pool and outdoor area is stunning. You can always judge a good place by asking yourself if you'd visit again, and we all would. Joanna and her staff were all very helpful. Joanna had organised a private chef (Kazim) to come and cook dinner for us one evening and that was very special. She also organised a private boat and snorkeling trip for us one day. The snorkeling was a bit disappointing as there was not much to see but the boat was great with lunch and an afternoon snack provided which is all cooked on the boat. It was delicious. Kalkan itself was also nice with plenty of restaurants to choose from. We look forward to visiting again soon.

from the beginning we were very well looked by Joanna. The questions were answered in a very short time via vrbo. When we arrived in Villa we fall in love. the view is breathtaking. the villa itself is just perfect. every detail has been thought of. the view from 4 bedrooms is beautiful. everything was very clean. thanks to kadir and ayfer for your efforts. thanks also to tarik bey for the nice reception. unfortunately we had forgotten something in the villa. tarik bey sent them to us with cargo. everything is done to fill the guests well and satisfied. that will certainly not be the last time to be here. many thanks to everyone. thanks to villa amycha we were able to enjoy our vacation in spite of corona.

Wonderful!

Absolutely stunning villa, which was everything we had hoped for and more. We completely fell in love with Villa Amycha and Kalkan and hope to return again. The view is nothing short of breathtaking and possibly unbeatable? What made this villa even better were the small touches that make all the difference, being met on arrival at the villa by Kadir, the daily housekeeping by the lovely Ayfer, daily bread delivery, constant supply of drinking water in the cooler, bathroom amenities, constant supply of toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, this is way above and beyond what you would usually get in a villa, and was very much appreciated. All the suggestions that Joanna made were fantastic, we used Ayhan for taxi trips, had Kalkan Catering cook for us, Bucket came to do massages, went to Arcadia for a Turkish Bath, went to Zest beach club, and the highlight of all the trip was a private boat trip with Captain Abdi and his wonderful wife on Pina X, we loved it so much we went twice! The pool has been remodelled recently adding a lovely ledge to lounge on and some steps and completely re-tiled. Thank you so much Joanna for all your patience and help, Villa Amycha and Kalkan is something very special.

Just amazing!!

We stayed here at the end of June with two other couples. My friends and I are celebrating our 50th birthday this year and we can honestly say that we wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. We just didn't want to come home. It was our friend's first time to Kalkan and our third and they were so impressed by the villa and Kalkan that we will definitely be back. We didn't hire a car as Joanna organised a taxi for us at the airport which I have to say was an excellent way to arrive at the villa. Our flight was delayed so was a relief that we had a taxi and didn't decide to hire a car. We met Ian who was our personnel taxi driver during our stay and he was a godsend as he just was available whenever we needed him. Kadir and Ayfer who looked after the cleaning and maintenance at the villa were really lovely and did a great job while we were there. We hired Kazim the chef for one night which was a fantastic way to spend one of the nights we had eating at the villa. It was great that we were able to supply a shopping list and along with what Joanna already supplied helped us for the first day or two. The information folder was full of useful information. We hired a private boat for the day which was a lovely experience. This villa is simply amazing the pool and the space around the pool is fantastic and the bedrooms just have amazing views. We will definitely be back very soon.

5 star luxury

Amazing, beautiful, luxurious, stunning, perfect... These are just some of the words that have been used to describe Villa Amycha and I'd have to agree with each one of them. We have just returned after 2 weeks and I think this is the most relaxed I've felt after a holiday! With the lovely Kadir & Ayfer taking care of the pool & villa during our stay, it really did feel as though you barely need lift a finger. We arrived at night so it was only when opening the blinds the following morning did we see the view...wow, wow, wow! And it didn't lose its wow factor the whole stay, I was still mesmerised each time I opened the blinds, walked down the stairs, walked out onto the terrace...we even went out and bought a pair of binoculars! For anyone thinking of visiting Kalkan in April, I would say that our experience was fantastic and we would definitely go this time of year again. We were lucky with the weather as we only had one day of rain and the rest was early twenties, a big difference to the temperatures at home. We even went a boat trip our second week (kindly organised by Joanna) and were swimming at every bay. Town is very quiet with a lot of places still getting ready for the new season (which we loved to watch and even mucked in ourselves helping out at one of the bars!), but there are still more than enough shops, bars & restaurants open - still too many to choose from. Although it was quiet, we experienced no pressure from anyone and spent a lot of time chatting to the locals as they had the time to spend with us. I have been to Turkey many times, but never to Kalkan. I experienced the same warmth & friendliness as I have in other parts of Turkey which is one of the main reasons I, and so many, return. Although they rely on tourism for their livelihoods, they are genuine people and go out of their way to make your holiday special. Sadly, one subject that did come up were the troubles that are happening all over the world at the moment. They are so worried about the impact it will have on their businesses this year, with one of the restaurant owners predicting a 45% loss. If you are thinking of going to Turkey then please don't let the troubles that are happening elsewhere put you off. It is a wonderful country with wonderful people and if I could afford to, I would buy my own Villa Amycha and live there all year round! Thank you again Joanna for a perfect stay. You really couldn't do enough and made our holiday all the more special.

Wow, just wow!!’

I cannot speak highly enough about this beautiful villa and the way we were looked after by the owner, Joanna and her lovely staff Kadir and Ayfer. From the moment we arrived to a surprise birthday cake 🎂 and balloons and banners and all the bookings that were made for us beforehand with private chefs and boat owners we truly felt we had stepped into a world of luxury!! All of the outside space including the infinity pool is fantastic and the views are amazing. A fabulous place to stay in a gorgeous part of the world - what’s not to love!!!

Wonderful accommodation and service

Delightful stay, from start to finish. The support, help and advice we received from Joanna was excellent, we had everything we could wish for. The villa was very close to Kalkan, an easy walk down in the evening, taxi back! However it was totally peaceful and relaxing around the pool with gorgeous views. We came home completely relaxed after our wonderful stay.

Fabulous Villa with dream views

The villa was everything it said it would be, it was so lovely having our breakfast made for us and the fresh bread they took in every morning was great for lunch, after breakfast the villa was then cleaned and beds made, what a treat. The Pool area was immaculate with the best sun loungers perfect for that late afternoon snooze or sun downer drinks at the bar. The view from the villa was magnificent, it took your breath away.

Back again!....just don't tire of the view

So nice to be back again after the pandemic. It was just as we remembered and we were able to share it with more friends - they loved it as much as we do. Amycha was as comfortable and spacious as always; our home from home. Kalkan Town itself was much busier (and noisier!); everyone keen to get away after the last couple of years? New restaurants and bars but still some old favourites. All in all a great couple of weeks. Booking and communications with the owner, Joanna, were smooth as always and she booked our transfers and boat trips in advance which made everything run smoothly. Next year??....

Grew up in Maidenhead in Berkshire, went to Leeds University and have now lived in Aberdeen Scotland for 27 years. Have 4 children - 2 grown up daughters and 2 much younger sons in their last year of primary school.

Why they chose this property

I'd never been to Turkey before 2013, but was wanting to buy a holiday home in a beautiful location that wasn't over developed and was easily accessible from the UK so started doing online research. Turkey was not my destination of choice until i read about Kalkan; there were loads of articles in praise of the place all noting that it was more sophisticated than other Turkish "resorts" and that it was the type of place that people who loved Tuscany would enjoy.
I decided we had to visit for ourselves and in February 2013 we headed over to Dalaman. The estate agent showing us around told us he thought we should see other areas as well to get a fuller appreciation of what was on offer as well as Kalkan, so he took us to Fethiye, Çalis Beach, Overçik - none of which "did it" for us at all and we were convinced we were not going to buy in Turkey. And then we rounded the mountain and looked down on Kalkan Bay........ and instantly fell for that view! Kalkan's quaint charms and the quality of the villas themselves were wonderful and we knew if we liked it so much in February then it could only get better during the warmer months! We concluded the purchase of our lovely Villa JaySea in May 2013 and have never looked back, we love it - but it's been so popular we decided to get another villa and so became the very proud owners of the even more gorgeous Villa Amycha in May 2015 . We absolutely love its cool crisp style, it's easy layout, the incredible views, and the huge terrace and infinity pool.

What makes this property unique

Villa Amycha sits on a 700m plot so the terrace is huge which was a big attraction.

It already had the amazing 50m infinity pool with sunbathing areas on 3 sides but we knew that there was also plenty of space to install a large marble bar for entertaining.... which now looks fab.

We also added pool heating (don't know how anyone can enjoy using an unheated pool, particularly in low and mid seasons but we also heat it in high season - just makes the place so much more inviting!) The views from the terrace are incredible but these views are also viewed from every room in the villa with the exception of the single room (which has mountain views)

We love to really relax on holiday and though the privacy of a private villa suits our requirements we do like the luxury of hotel type offerings: someone else making the beds, cleaning the bathrooms, preparing breakfast and clearing it away and we also like to know that we don't have to carry over hairdryers or bathroom amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, hand cream etc so we decided that all these things would be included for our guests too.
