About this property
Northland Resort, Cabin #3, The Beach House
Northland Resort has been owned and operated by the Olejniczak Family since 1951. At the end of the 2017 season, the resort was separated between the four siblings. Alan and Cheri continue to rent the three cottages at water front. Each rental is a modern, housekeeping unit with complete kitchen including a microwave oven, drip coffee maker, pizza maker, tv/dvd and updated bathroom with shower. Each cabin has its own private pier with a 14' aluminum row boat; barbecue grill, picnic table and fire ring with firewood.
#3 Cabin, the Beach House - This two-bedroom cottage with a hide-a-bed sleeps six and is a favorite of many.
The huge expanse of lakeside windows brings nature and the lake breezes indoors.
The large deck is perfect for cookouts, reading, playing games or just enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.
You will see an abundance of wildlife on the lake including the majestic Bald Eagle, loons and playful Otters. Spend the day fishing for Walleye, Pike or Pan fish, then cook them up on the grill or over your private fire pit. The lake is great for water-skiing, tubing or just taking in the sights and sounds of the Northwood's.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! Alan ensured we no issues upon arrival. The cabin was very cute and the location was close to everything St Germain has to offer. The boat and beach were just what we needed! We will definitely be visiting again!
Place was wonderful! Alan was a great host, like a good neighbor! He was there if you needed him, but allowed us to enjoy and respect his property as if it were our own. Whole family really enjoyed every minute of our stay.
This place was really clean, all amenities available and modern, a/c worked great. Really nice to have your own pier. you are left alone to enjoy your vacation, yet, if you need anything they are right there. Alan is a super nice guy and offered up some fishing help. Highly recommended.
This is a cozy, traditional style cabin with plenty of space for 2 people. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Fishing was poor, but it was not prime fishing season. The beds were very comfortable, and that with plenty of fresh air, provided a great night’s sleep. Conveniently located between Minoqua and Eagle River.
All the comforts of a home with the benefits of the outdoors. I enjoyed waking up every morning and drinking coffee on the boat deck watching the day start. Hot shower and meals with the family outdoor or inside at the dining table. Filled our day with boating, hiking, etc. then relaxed at the firepit in the evening. All 5 of us slept well at night. The owner was very helpful with any questions. Would definitely recommend this resort.
We loved staying at Northland Resorts. Already booked for next summer as well. We had cabin #3 and it did not disappoint. The resort is secluded so you’re not annoyed by all the boat traffic. The owners are friendly and respectful to you. Definitely recommend for a family vacation by the lake
This cabin was exactly what we wanted... clean, comfortable, no frills and on the lake. Each cabin had a dock which accommodated fishing/skiing boats with a launch just over a mile away or use the row boat supplied. Gas and a bar/restaurant on the lake to boat up to if you want. Good fishing, skiing/tubing. Owners live on premise and very friendly/helpful. Dog friendly but respectful (ensured dogs didn't just bark all day). Our 2 teenagers said..."surprisingly, it was a fun week." :-) Only draw back is no AC but we had cool enough nights (60s) that with all the windows in cabin 3, shaded location and the supplied box fans, it was comfortable. Highly recommend!
Very nice experience. The cabin was clean and comfortable. There were 5 adults and 2 dogs in our group. The outside area was great. Alan and his son were very friendly. Definitely would stay here again.
We stayed in cabin #3 for 5 nights. It was wonderful! Very clean!! The owners are very responsive to emails. They live 2 doors down as well. Great place
