Check in was difficult as another family accidentally thought our cabin was theirs and had already unloaded their belongings (and dog) into our cabin. Took a bit of time to figure this out. Garbage disposal needed to be plunged upon arrival as sink was plugged. Starter firewood was not there but local host said we will be refunded for that. Rest of stay was great and cabin was very comfortable. Hot tub was wonderful, beds were comfortable and having a washer and dryer was very nice.

That was an amazing place to stay because my daughters and I we really enjoy the hot tub and the beautiful sunset around the mountains enjoying the wildlife come around us. The cabin was nice and clean and cozy and had everything that we expected. we really enjoy it. I absolutely will come back…love it love it.!!

Well-apoointed cozy cabin with great view

Loved the location, view and appointments at this cabin. Easy access to Hwy 160 and close to Wolf Creek Ski area. Clean and well-stocked with plenty of towels, basic amenities (like TP, dishwashing tabs, etc.) and the woodburning stove and hot tub are great perks. Beds were comfortable and central heat was appreciated during the cold week. Would stay again!

I loved the quiet mountain views. The hot tub was a nice touch as well. We had a great time there! The cabin was very clean and friendly with lots of space. We brought some DVDs and had some movie nights with the fire it was a good time. Would recommend and even come back!

This place was just what we were looking for for our weekend away! The space was very clean and homey. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning to enjoy the view and watch the blue jays. This place is also a short drive from Big Meadow Reservoir which was SO beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Location

Loved this little cabin. It’s the closest rentals to Wolf Creek Ski resort that we could find. It was enough space for our family of 4. The living and dining room could be bigger, but it worked. The only complaint I had was there were no coffee filters. Seems small, but that needs to be noted if the coffee maker is listed as provided.

Ponderosa in south fork

Overall a pleasant place to stay for a few nights. The little cabin was clean and cozy. The down side is the traffic on Wolf Creek pass can be heard inside the cabin. There is a black widow living under the wood burning stove. The bathtub is very slow to drain. I would book this for a weekend getaway again.

Overall cleanliness & home was amazing. Accommodated a family of 6 & 2 dogs just fine. Plenty of extra bed linens & towels available to use. However none of the amenities were available as listed. The hot tub fuse was completely blown, leaving us with no access to the hot tub. (One of the only reasons we booked this stay) We were guaranteed maintenance throughout our stay for the hot tub, they never showed or called. Along with the grill being completely unsafe to use. We spent at least an hour cleaning the grill itself (as expected from previous tenants) however, as soon as we lit the grill, it started up in flames. It was faster to cook inside because the flames on the grill were too small to cook much of anything. Lovely stay, not so lovely amenities.

Drafty windows/ Heater issues

All, The place was in a great location and very clean. The windows are very drafty need to be replaced or sealed. One room had no heat (not even an electric heater) and there were no extra blankets. The temps during the weekend were around -12 to 12 deg. It was very cold.
