About this property

Old house with all modern comforts, forest of Fontainebleau

Our old house is in a small charming hamlet 2 kms from the famous painters village of Barbizon. The forest of Fontainebleau is barely 200 m. Our very large garden with hundred-year-old trees (weeping willow, beautiful walnut and oak) extends all around the house. Having 2 children, there are 2 swings and a trampoline. The interior atmosphere is very bright thanks to the many windows. Fully restored, the house is very comfortable and functional.

Perfect stay for climbing holiday

D'excellentes vacances dans une superbe maison

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans cette très belle maison, confortable, paisible, et meublée avec gout. La maison est très grande permettant à chacun d'être très à l'aise, les pièces sont spacieuses et très lumineuses. L'ensemble des équipements mis à disposition sont de qualité, pratiques et en grand nombre. Le jardin est très grand, avec des balançoires et un grand trampoline. Nos enfants en ont énormément profité. Des nombreux livres et DVD sont disponibles ajoutant un attrait supplémentaire à la maison, déjà pleine de charme. Les deux chats sont adorables, d'un abord très facile et étaient sur nos genoux à se faire caresser dès le premier soir ! La forêt de Fontainebleau est juste à côté permettant ainsi promenades en forêts et escalades des rochers et la ville de Fontainebleau et son château également. En synthèse, une très belle maison pour des vacances. C'est avec grand plaisir que nous y retournerons !

Great vacation house

Very nice and helpful owners, always accessible. The house is pictorial with its garden and patio including several outdoor furniture. Inside the house there is everything needed, even a dishwasher and a washing machine are available. All rooms are in a good condition and also very clean. One of the prettiest things were the three cats which stopped by every evening to be petted. This will be one of the addresses to stay I check first at my next visit in France.
