Beautiful location, dated property
It is hard to beat the location both in proximity to mountains and right on the river. Very tranquil setting. The property is good enough, comfortable, but badly in need of some modern updates.

Broken hot tub - scam
*HOT TUB BROKEN* Vacasa the company that manages this property, tried to SCAM me. I called beforehand asking if the hot tub was broken since I saw a new review saying it was, and the person on the phone said “there are no notes saying it is broken.” :( he knew exactly what he was doing. I asked what I should do if I get there and the hot tub is broken, he said call us not vrbo and we will get you a new place. I called, someone said they’d call the owner, I get a text from the owner saying he took the hot tub off the amenities list. I filtered my search by hot tub, this is the only reason we got a place - to have a hot tub after skiing. It sketched me out even more when my boyfriend looked at more reviews and some people said the same thing! Some say the hot tub was taken off, some say it was put back on. I have a suspicion the owner puts it on, then when someone rents it out or checks in, takes it off, and makes us seem crazy. I have gotten 30% back from an owner changing their listing on me - i will keep calling until i get someone who can see the history of the listing. And i will pursue this and get my money back. I didn’t want to ruin our last weekend together as a couple before i left for the week, on the phone for hours. I was put on hold by vrbo for 20+ min, someone finally said theyd call me back or email me, and never did. It’s like they’re in on it. Do not waste your time and mon

Disgusting & Broken Down
I could not have been more disappointed with the reality of this cabin versus the (obviously highly photoshopped) listing. It was dirty, there were white stains all over various walls, the windows were dirty, and everything was broken and missing. The hot tub was broken, the garbage disposal was broken, the TV was broken, the cabinet the TV was in was broken, even the master bedroom door was broken. The leather like couch was busted open with tears and open stuffing... There was a gross laminated but moldy sign about the garbage disposal being broken, so it's obviously been that way for a while. While there, my dog found a mostly empty can of crusty pet food under the table that had clearly been there for a long time, and everything was out of stock: spices, laundry detergent, etc. I reported this all, got terrible customer service, and got a very pitiful refund of a small portion of cost of staying there. For the amount paid, we could have been at a high-end hotel, but instead we were sitting in someone's dirty, ramshackle, falling-apart cabin and being treated poorly by the management team. I will NEVER rent a Vacasa property again.
