This restored farm house has been in the family since it was built in 1918. The location offers spectacular views and areas to hike. In addition to the beautiful gardens accented with antique farm equipment, you will enjoy the large open yard (perfect for yard games), the large shade trees, and the wrap-around porch. When is the last time you sat and watched the sun set?
Inside, you will feel right at home with the antique furnishings, a country eat-in kitchen with fireplace, and a large dining room and living room also a fireplace. There is enough room and privacy for at least eight guest to stay, even more for dinner! And, of course, we have added all the modern conveniences for your comfort. The upstairs bedrooms all have TV's for your enjoyment.

We could not have had a nicer time. The farmhouse is nestled in a quiet, private and picturesque location. Perfect place to relax, yet close to outdoor activities that will keep one busy. All the amenities that we needed were provided and then some. I love the historical presence of the home with it's updated, comfortable living conditions. We are definitely going back.

My family of 6 had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! There was plenty of room for all of us. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. If we are back in town at another time we would love to stay there again!

Our Hillsville Vacation

We loved the farmhouse, it was very clean and very neat We loved all the antiques, we met the owners while we were there, very nice couple. We discussed house and family history. Very peaceful place to stay..

What a wonderful property

We’ve rented quite a few vacation rentals and this one is pretty much at the top. It was such a great location and the porch is amazing. The house is so well appointed and you can tell it is well loved. We would rent this again for sure. Thank you so much Clara. We had so much fun.

Perfect Getaway

We had a great time. The home and grounds are beautiful and give you a nostalgic longing for days gone by. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay. The strawberry rhubarb jam was delicious. Sorry we didn’t get to leave Wendell the whistling whistle pig any jam. 😉

Family time in a peaceful setting

This is our second time at Bald Knob Farm. We enjoyed our special family time and made great memories. The owners are super to work with and had the house stocked with everything we needed. They even blessed us with some delicious homemade apple butter! We will be back again soon.

Beautiful and relaxing

The farmhouse is an extremely charming house full of antique furniture and history. It's family-friendly and the yard is great for kids. We were all quite comfortable, and we were lucky enough to get to chat with Clara and Clarence a bit about the history of the Crouse's and the house as well. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing place to stay.

Beautiful old farm house with everything you need to have a relaxing stay. Great sitting out on the wrap around porch and watching the deer feed in the field in front of the house. Would be totally awesome in the fall. Clara was very helpful and nice.

We will definitely be back. Loved the property no issues. Nice size rooms. Owners were responsive to any questions. We didnt get there until dark so they did leave the front light on for us which was nice. Loved drinking coffee on the porch.

Wonderful Farmhouse

Such a well decorated farmhouse with a large wrap-around porch with plenty of outdoor rockers. The location was convenient for visiting Sparta and Stone Mountain State Park.Clara was excellent providing information for our stay at her farmhouse.My husband and I hope to come again, as well as our daughter and 2 young grandsons.

Always a wonderful stay!

We’ve stayed at the Bald Knob Farmhouse many times and love it every time. It’s so peaceful and homey and we enjoy just hanging out and spending some quiet time there. Clara is wonderful to work with and we hope to continue visiting many more times in the future.

Charming Farmhouse

This was the second time my family has stayed here. We thoroughly enjoyed it again. It’s a charming old but well maintained farmhouse with a comfortable wrap-around porch in a quiet, remote location. The main street of the small town of Sparta is about 15 minutes away. Highly recommend
