COMFORTABLE YEAR ROUND LAKE FRONT HOME - CLOSE TO SCHROON LAKE VILLAGE

This comfortable vacation home is one of three rentals on the property. It's a short walk to Schroon Lake Village.. A great place to relax after a day in the sun or on the slopes. It's roomy interior allows for a place to share with family and friends.

This tranquil property is in the heart of the Adirondacks, Just 20 minutes from Gore Mountain, it's a great vantage point to explore the beautiful Adirondack Mountains.

There is live entertainment just a walk away in Schroon Lake Village. Close to churches and the Word of Life Center.

Golf/ski: The local golf course is just around the corner from this property. Schroon Lake runs an excellent beginning skiing facilities at the golf course in the winter. There is a rope tow and lessons are offered. Sledding hill is available also. Great starter hill.

Ski Season: Sit in the house after a long day at the slopes and enjoy watching the ice fishermen. Better yet, join them. By the way, some of the best snowmobile trails are just a short way from the house. Restaurants and grocery store are just a few minutes away.

Great Weekend

Once again, we had a great weekend. We love the house and location. Catherine is a terrific host. I would not want to stay anywhere else in Schroon Lake. We absolutely love it here.

Memorial day

As always it has been a wonderful time on memorial day weekend. Perfect weather. My children and grandchildren got to enjoy schroon lake again. We love the camp. Love the screened in porch. View is beautiful of the lake.

Little slice of Heaven

My stay at the lake house was way to short. The screened in porch with the lake only a few feet away with an amazing view was my favorite spot. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful Home

It was a great stay in beautiful Schroon Lake over the weekend. The house is amazing, beautiful views in the morning and at night. Close to everything you need in town. The house is very clean and very cozy we really enjoyed our stay.

Ice fishing trip

The place was great overall. It had everything we were looking for. The only downfall about the stay was that we could not access the ice from the cottage. It was the entire reason we booked a place on the water. I sent a message to the property owner before booking and and asked if there was access and I was told there was. Unfortunately, the neighbor had a bubbler on in front of their house so we could not access the lake from the cottage. Other than that the place was perfect. There were 4 of us and we each had our own queen bedroom. We did need to bring either a sleeping bag or our own linens for the bed though along with our own towels. Overall our experience was very positive though. Beautiful location, comfortable house and great stay.

Great location

We had a great ski weekend. Location of the house is good. Close to restaurants and 30 Minutes to Gore mountain. The house is a bit old but clean. Right on the water and the views are spectacular. The gas fireplace was key.

Perfect Summer Spot

I was here with my extended family (including those with 4 paws) this summer. We absolutely loved our stay. Perfect adirondack summer getaway. Coffee on the giant screened in porch in the morning looking at the lake was lovely. We could float at the lake access point and take our boat paddleboards out right from the dock. The house is close to all of the town amenities too, but with the lake steps away, a spacious house, with a fully stocked kitchen, we found we didn't want to leave the property.

Love the lake

The is lake house was a perfect place to spend a winter weekend. We will ice skated and sledded and stayed cozy by the fire. The views are lovely too. Recommended!

Great Location

We enjoyed staying at this property, which was in a great location on the water, close to town and close to family in the area. The living room / dining area was spacious and we really enjoyed gathering with family in front of the fireplace. The owners were easy to work with and responsive and allowed us to extend a night at the last minute. We would be happy to book here again!

Husband and I needed a small quiet getaway without kids. The place was very nice and relaxing would recommend this property to anyone. We even had a issue that our car battery died and we called to host and they were able to give a boost and were very friendly

I think the cushions on the porch should be replaced. That said, the mattresses were great. We were visited by families of ducks and heard the loons at night. Sharing the dock was ok because the other family was cordial and considerate. One other upgrade would be access to a ladder on the dock.

Loved it!

Beautiful property and easy access to town by boat, foot or car. The house was inviting and roomy. We brought our 3 year old daughter and chocolate lab and had a wonderful time! My husbands parents came for a couple of nights and were very comfortable. Kitchen is clean and decent, living areas are cozy and comfortable but the view takes the cake! We loved our stay, planning to book again.

Exactly what we needed

We had a amazing stay at the lake house. The check in was easy and the location was prefect. The boys went ice fishing and my daughter and I enjoyed the out door fun that Schroon lake had to offer. We shoveled a nice spot right in front of the house and enjoyed hours of ice skating. At the town beach we found a great hill for sledding. If you need anything really ANYTHING its a short walk away. The kitchen has every thing you could possibly need and then some. It was a great weekend we had amazing weather and it was just what we needed.

Paul and I purchased these properties in 2007 and enjoy sharing our 'find' with others. We hope our renters enjoy the Adirondacks and year round fun as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

The main house is only 35' from the water. The enclosed screen porch allows you to enjoy the lake no matter what the weather. It's warm and comfy with plenty of room for all activities. This house is convenient to lake, golf, stores, and has all the conveniences of home. Gore Mountain is 25 minutes away. The house is within walking distance of stores, restaurants and the lake.

What makes this property unique

The main house (#169543) has room for 10; the Chalet (#194658) room for 6 and the new house (#3827122) room for 8 (3 bedrooms and a pullout couch). It's a great getaway for a family, family reunion, and friends.
