About this property
Apartment Grozdana;Pag-50m sea
Accommodation is located 50m from the closest beach and 200m from the centre. One accommodation unit is suitable for minimally 4 and maximally 6 people. The guests have available: balcony/terrace, garden plot, sat-TV, linens, towels, cot, barbecue,parking...
The Island of Pag has the most indented coast of all the islands in the Adriatic Sea (270 km) and 84 km of the coast are gravel & sand beaches. The access to the island is via a ferry (Prizna - Zigljen line) or the bridge (bridge of Pag). Average monthly temperature from May to September is above 20°C.
The richness of the aromatic plants - and herbs with healing properties - which grow on the island give the local food (like sheep's cheese or lamb) a unique flavour. Local industries are collecting and processing sea-salt and lace-making. The island also boasts scientifically-acknowledged healing mud.
The city of Pag is the oldest town on the island (on 30th March.1244, Bela IV granted it a charter to confirm its free royal status). The town itself has 20 km of sand beaches. The city beach is ideal for sport & fun and it is appropriate & safe for children. Near the beach there are also restaurants and cafés.
Pag is located 55 km away from Zadar, and 60 km from the airport. It is the fifth-largest island of the Croatian coast, and the one with the longest coastline. There are two towns on the island, Pag and Novalja, as well as many smaller villages and tourist places. The island has an area of 305 km2 and the coastline is 302.47 km.
At first glance the Island of Pag is a rough, stone made, edged with sky-blue sea and placed under the wing of the Velebit Mountain. It is often called "Island of Rock " or "Lunar Island" because its surface has a somewhat intimidating appearance with a stone white from gale, rugged in so many forms that only nature can create, that occupies even 86% percent of the island's surface.
The island of Pag is known as one of the sunniest islands in the Adriatic, with over 2,500 hours of sunshine per year, its coast is woven of even 270 km of pebbly beaches with crystal clear sea.
As hosts we speak English & Italian very well, love to meet new people and would be at your service to make your stay enjoyable experience.
See you!
