In the heart of the historic center of Saint Remy de Provence, Provencal house spacious and bright on 3 floors with a private courtyard of approximately 50m2 on the ground floor.

Ideally located in a quiet street in the city center and close to all shops, museums and art galleries, you can explore the city and its surroundings on foot or by bike.

The inner courtyard (not covered) offers a space zen, without opposite. It is furnished with a garden furniture and a table for 6 people with umbrella.

The house is on 3 floors and consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a kitchen and 3 separate toilets.

- On the ground floor: Large family room, kitchen opening onto the courtyard, WC.

- 1st floor: Bedroom 1 (courtyard side) with its bathroom (ensuite) and a large lounge / office, WC.

- 2nd floor: Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds (courtyard side), Bedroom 3 (street side), shower room, WC

Ideal house for holidays with family or friends. You will enjoy the weekly market on Wednesday mornings.

The property has no parking space, but it is possible to park a 5-minute walk to the free parking lot. Other possible parking: Jean-Jaurès (paying), next to the tourist office.

Bed linen and household linen are provided.
Cleaning is included.
The spacious bedroom on the second floor is equipped with a mobile air conditioning unit (Penguin type). There is no air conditioning in the other rooms.
Fans are available in all bedrooms, if required.

The thick stone walls help to keep the house cool during the summer, except during periods of extreme heat.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home in the very heart of Saint-Rémy while he was writing a book and I was working evenings for my job in Los Angeles. This apartment felt like a fairytale—you hardly needed to leave, as simply being inside made you feel immersed in the beauty and spirit of Saint-Rémy itself.Everything about our stay was wonderful: the communication was seamless, the home was quiet, restful, and truly storybook. We can’t thank our hosts enough for their incredible hospitality. We hope to return one day and can’t recommend this special place highly enough.

Perfect Place in Saint-Remy

This house exceeded our expectations, which were high. The location is perfect, halfway down a short, mostly pedestrian street between the ring road and the central square that is the centerpiece of the Wednesday market. There are numerous restaurants within easy walking distance, as well as a bakery and pharmacy. A good grocery is also within walking distance. We were always able to find parking in one of the two city lots or on the ring road; the cost seemed to vary, but it was always less than many city hotels charge. It was quite hot while we were there, but the stone walls and fans kept us comfortable if we closed windows during the day. The courtyard is lovely, complete with cooing doves and a shy lizard. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The house is tastefully decorated. The stairs may be a challenge for some, but the availability of a toilet room on the ground floor minimizes climbs. The owner greeted us with gifts when we arrived and returned for check out. He is friendly and helpful, probably more than I know because my French is poor. This place is a great find!!

Lovely, very functional home - ideal location

My wife, sister, brother-in-law and I have just returned from a two-week stay at this lovely property. Everything about the visit was exceptional. Valerie, the friendly lady who let us in, was as helpful as she could be - we fairly easily over came our limited French and her limited English. The house itself suited the four of us very well. My wife and I stayed on the top floor to minimize climbing for my sister and her husband. The weather was warmer than normal for this time of year, so we slept with windows open and used the very effective plug-in cooling unit. Completely comfortable throughout the stay. The house was well-supplied with almost everything we could need. Because of the length of stay, we washed clothes pretty regularly. We were a bit concerned at first about the lack of a clothes dryer, but with the warm, dry weather, the foldable clothesline worked perfectly well for us. Other than simple "petit dejeuner," we did only limited cooking, but everything we could possibly want in the kitchen was right there. It was especially nice enjoying our breakfasts, most lunches and evening "apero" in the lovely little courtyard in the back. The only convenience I might suggest adding would be a bureau or chest of drawers in the large bedroom upstairs, perhaps one like the downstairs bedroom. Finally the location was superb - a short, lovely walk to everything. Enjoyed meeting the neighbors, too. Thanks for the great stay!

Annonce inexacte: pas de climatisation, bains à remous...

Contrairement à l'annonce, la maison n'est pas climatisée. Seulement un "rafraichisseur" fonctionnant mal dans une chambre et un ventilateur dans une 2ème chambre. Rien dans le séjour. Maison trop chaude malgré volets fermés... Nos amis qui devaient occuper la 3ème chambre ont renoncé à nous rejoindre car nous n'avons pas reçu de réponse à notre demande d'un ventilateur supplémentaire. Autrement, la maison est très bien située et propre.

Great location in the heart of town.

Spacious with good amenities. The only drawback is that the 2nd bedroom is on the 3rd floor with quite a few steps. Both bathrooms are large but not en-suite.

Perfect spot in Saint Remy -

We were a group of 4 - stayed 8 nights -- in this wonderfully situated apartment, just half a block away from the heart of activities in Saint Remy. We wanted 2 bathrooms and got that and much more. The living area was perfect for relaxing and the patio outside the kitchen was wonderful for being in the sun. We cooked several meals - the kitchen is well equipped and comfortable for eating inside. We really appreciated finding free parking a 10 minute walk away - available each day after we explored the area. Although there are rooms for more people to sleep, it would be hard for more than 4 to enjoy meals together - it worked great for us. We would love to return here -- super memories. (Finding the street was challenging as Google had the number "8" in French not as a number.)

Large and functional home in the old town city center

This property is a three story home right in then middle of the city center and so convenient to all of the restaurants and shopping in Saint Rémy. It was a treat to walk a few steps to the Wednesday market, shop and unload our goodies back at the house before venturing out again. It’s located on a side street very close to the Hôtel de Ville. Although the street is fairly narrow and serves as a pedestrian walk way like other small streets in town, it is still a street and you can drive on it. You can pull up and unload and then navigate to the free parking lot. It’s maybe a 10 min walk. This home was very functional and had many amenities- from kitchen supplies to bath supplies, a large fridge, a gas stove!, nespresso, plenty of towels. The outdoor patio was a lovely place to sit with coffee in the morning. The linens and towels could use a refresh but they were all extremely clean, as was the entire house. The stairs were very nice and easy to get up and down. Original artwork was hung throughout. Our only struggle was dealing with the intense heat wave hitting Europe in early August. I think I misread the listing and thought there was air conditioning throughout, but the description clearly says there is no AC. It is listed as an amenity because there is a portable unit in the large bedroom on the third floor. It was so hot that we put our kids on the floor in there with us at night. It helped but it was still warm unless you were directly in the pathway of the unit’s fan. I asked the host for a fan and she had the property manager bring one over the same day, which I very much appreciated. My mom used that fan in her window on the second floor at night. The property manager also came and helped me get the gas stove working- she showed up in 10 min. She’s very efficient! Overall this was a great place and spacious for a family. I just wish we had visited in the spring or fall.

A delightful stay

The house is wonderfully located right in the heart of St. Remy with all the charm of the town at the doorstep. And yet the house and surroundings are pindrop quiet until the 8 am church bells. The house is well laid-out, the kitchen well-provided, and the courtyard is a delight. After a busy day of touring around it was a pleasure to return to the house to sip rose and have supper. We cannot wait to return to this charming house and town.

I go to St. Remy for French immersion and this was my second time to spend a week in this apartment. Obviously, I love it. It is spacious, well appointed, and located in the heart of St. Remy near shops, restaurants, and the Wednesday market. The managers are friendly and available for anything you need.

Mooi huis in heerlijk stadje

Het huis is mooi, ruim, en ideaal gelegen in het centrum van Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Als je naar buiten stapt, vind je meteen restaurants, terrasjes en winkels. Toch heb je 's nachts en 's ochtends vroeg geen last van straatgeluid, zeker niet aan de achterkant, waar wij hebben geslapen. Zelfs niet op woensdag, als er markt is. De communicatie met Carine verliep uitstekend. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Een aanrader!

Wonderful week in St Remy

This is a wonderful apartment in the center of town. I worried that it might be noisy, but the bedroom was very quiet. The kitchen is very well supplied to enjoy the fresh produce of the area. The terrace is beautiful and private. Carine and Valerie were lovely to work with. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.
