At Placita Escondida condos you are in the heart of it all at the corner of River and Campbell. In this second story unit, you will be staying in one of Tucson’s first, truly new condominium development. This is not another 'condo conversion', this is new construction. Inside, you will appreciate the high ceilings with spacious living area. Sit on the balcony and enjoy a beautiful Arizona sunset or relax and enjoy an evening of television on a large flat screen TV. Features in Foothills area: All within a 1/2 mile or an easy walk on the Rillito River Trail to Trader Joe's, Starbucks, Zinburger, PF Changs, Sullivan's Steakhouse, Vivace Restaurant, Gadabout Salon & Spa, and Body Works Studio. The Rillito River Trail is a linear parkway that goes miles in each directions. Great for walking, jogging or bike riding.

Condo was exactly as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay. Steve was responsive to my questions at all times. Everything worked perfectly and everything we needed was there. Very comfortable and an excellent location too. Easy walk to Trader Joe's, restaurants and the Farmer's market too. Walking/bike path just steps from the front door. Hot tub and pool were very nice. Great condo in a great location

My husband and I spent a week in this beautiful condo that was well-stocked with a variety of amenities and in a great location. It was quiet and private yet next door to the fun shops and restaurants at St. Phillip's Plaza. The property abuts the river walk and the condo comes with a key to the gate to enter on this multi-use path that circles the city. We highly recommend this rental!

Excellent 2nd floor condo with two balconies. Very well appointed with everything you need. Unit was just as described on listing. Host was very responsive and helpful. Great location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and Trader Joe's. Best part is being right on the Tucson Loop for walking, jogging, or biking. Would recommend and plan on staying here in the future.

Cycling and Active Lifestyle Paradise

The unit is well-appointed, literally on the bike path, and close to all of the shopping to meet your needs including groceries, restaurants, and entertainment. The unit is quiet with two balconies and a great well-supplied kitchen. The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure that you have the best stay possible. There is a large clean shower, bath, and closet in the master bdrm as well. We very much appreciated staying here and look forward to booking again upon our return! The apartment is very well set up in every way. Everything was spotless when we arrived. Beds are comfortable. Amply supplied with spare sheets, towels, and other supplies. The kitchen is also well stocked. Everything is maintained in proper working order. Helpful and responsive host. Great location near bike path and pedestrian trail along the Rillito River; a short walk to local cafe, restaurant/bar, Mexican restaurant, and Trader Joes; other restaurants, pharmacies, and supermarkets are a short drive away. Private balcony with chairs facing west has a decent view.

Great place, great host. The balcony is a pleasant place to sit, with nice views. Conveniently located, close to the pool and also close to the footpath and bike path beside the (usually dry) Rillito river bed. This is a huge advantage. Easy parking with lots of empty spaces nearby, and also a reserved space in the shade. Two very popular restaurants with live music in a shared outside courtyard are a five minute walk away at Saint Philip’s Plaza, which also has a nice espresso cafe and various shops, spas, etc. Trader Joe’s is a five minute drive away.This was our second visit.

Nice place!

Well maintained condo with accurate description and pictures. We really enjoyed the ability to walk a couple of minutes down the Rillito River trail to the restaurants and free live music at St Philip’s Plaza. We also found it easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit and hike from this location. Good Wi-Fi and TV, well stocked on all kitchen utensils, towels, etc. Very easy and comfortable stay!

Exceptional Stay inTucson

Steve and Lynn’s condo is the best we’ll stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in, it even included coffee pods for their Keurig coffee maker. Very comfortable, great decor, and very centrally located to restaurants, shopping, and trails. We experienced an issue with our assigned parking spot. Steve was very responsive and the issue was resolved within 24 hours. We would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay at this property. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and laundry next to the kitchen was super convenient to have. Beds were comfortable and location was quiet.
