Guests have private access to the entire apartment and a designated parking area. The property also includes **Witte Manor**, our separate four-bedroom main home, which may be occupied by other guests during your stay. Each rental has its own private indoor space and entrance. Outdoor areas—including the backyard, BBQ area, breezeway, patio table, and seating—are shared between the two rentals.

The Plum Creek neighborhood also offers several parks and two community pools, subject to seasonal availability, posted rules, and community guidelines.

Please note that Witte Wonderland is located on the second floor above the detached garage, so guests must be comfortable climbing a full flight of stairs. There is no elevator. The garage, owner storage areas, locked spaces, and main house are not included with this reservation.

Whether you’re planning a relaxing weekend, attending a nearby wedding, visiting family, exploring the Texas Hill Country, or looking for a comfortable place between Austin and San Marcos, **Witte Wonderland** offers privacy, convenience, and the comforts of home in a quiet neighborhood setting.

Location in a quiet residential area. The apartment above the detached garage was spacious, clean and had what I needed. Close to my daughter’s family in Kyle.

Cozy Get-A-Way

This is a little one bedroom, one bath efficiency apartment. Great place to stay for the three of us while in town for a baseball tournament. Great location - close to anything you need. Wonderful neighborhood - like something from a movie. Check-in process was easy and detailed with pictures, so you know exactly what to do and where to go. We would stay here again if we have another tournament in the area.

Thank You

Enjoyed my stay in your cute home. The only complaint I really have is the smell of gasoline coming up through the floor during the night with the apartment over the garage. Woke up about 3am and could smell the gasoline.

Great Experience

The property was amazing, private, clean. Communication with property manager was amazing! I was lost (because I put the address in my GPS incorrectly and it was late. I called and they helped me get in so quickly. I was so grateful! I'm 60 and have trouble seeing in the dark, so it was VERY helpful!

Lovely suite but furnishings fall short

This is a very clean, quiet, well-equipped suite that is terrific when visiting friends or family in Kyle's Plum Creek area. However, this suite sleeps 2 adults, not 4. You do not want to have to sleep or even sit on the very lumpy, overdue-for-replacement living room sofa bed: uncomfortable and too short for an adult; too low for a comfortable seat. Minor points: we found the bed wobbly and the mattress very soft, and the "dining table" is a small swivel bar table with 2 backless swivel bar stools. Note that the pool is a community facility that opens in late April.

Cute/Fun Stay

My spouse and I just stayed one night, but it was great. Check in process was easy. Very detailed instructions. The neighborhood was really cool and neat. Felt like very old school, traditional America, Leave It To Beaver style. Every single house has a white picket fence, and American flags in the front yard by the mailboxes. Might want to eventually move here! 😁 Never once had to communicate with the owners. The place is separate from the house. In the dog heat of summer you can expect a space above a garage to be hot. But the AC works and after a bit it’s comfortable. Lay on the bed under the fan and it’ll cool down quicker. Everything was clean. Fun artwork inside. 2 TVs which was convenient. I’d say the futon in the main area could be updated, it was kinda hard and the spring feel like they poke you in the butt. But we didn’t need to use it so no issues. But if you had a guest intended to sleep on it I’d think it might be an issue. Overall really enjoyed the place. If we ever need another overnight stop in Kyle/Buda we’ll stay again.

Bungalow village

Very cozy and welcoming! All amenities were available and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is modern and clean. The beverages in the refrigerator are an added bonus! The sofa/futon is the only complaint, the springs are shot.

Perfect place in a great neighborhood!

I stayed here for a week with my infant twins and it couldn't be more perfect! Whether you're a couple or have small children who can camp out in the living room this place is perfect for a small family! Quiet and in a safe neighborhood this place is a gem! Never thought I'd find a place to stay in Kyle but if you're visiting this is a great private apartment worth checking out. Will definitely book again when I return to visit family!

A beautiful temporary home

My girlfriend and I needed a place to stay for a bit for a friend's wedding it was last minute and we were sure we would have to settle for a hotel. She found this spot and suggested it to me and I agreed we loved this little home we could come to after every night it was like a little safe haven for us. The owners did a wonderful job having the place clean and ready and anytime we needed to cook the needed utensils and cooking tools were there for us. We loved every second and loved having a place to spend time with each other.

Cute little place to stay

Nice and clean little apartment above the garage was a great accommodation for our family weekend getaway. A couple could easily enjoy an extended stay, but larger families are probably better suited to weekend stays. I would easily recommend staying here.

Our journey together began on a vacation, and travel has remained an important part of our story ever since. We are bilingual, lifelong learners, and explorers at heart who enjoy discovering new places, trying different foods, learning about other cultures, and creating meaningful experiences with the people we love.

We became hosts because we understand how special it is to find a place that feels comfortable, welcoming, and easy to call home while traveling. **Witte Wonderland** reflects our love of creativity, thoughtful details, and warm hospitality. From the colorful artwork and cozy furnishings to the small welcome touches, we hope every guest feels cared for from the moment they arrive.

We respect our guests’ privacy while remaining available to answer questions, offer local recommendations, or help whenever needed. Whether you are visiting for a wedding, work trip, family visit, special event, or Central Texas adventure, we are grateful to host you and hope Witte Wonderland becomes a memorable part of your journey.

Why they chose this property

We chose Kyle’s **Plum Creek neighborhood** because it offers the perfect balance of peaceful residential charm and convenient access to Central Texas. The neighborhood is known for its welcoming atmosphere, beautiful homes, tree-lined streets, walking and biking paths, several parks, and two community pools.

What we enjoy most is how calm and comfortable the area feels while still being close to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, wedding venues, and nearby destinations such as Austin, San Marcos, Driftwood, Wimberley, and New Braunfels.

Guests can begin the day with a quiet neighborhood walk, spend the afternoon exploring the Hill Country or attending a local event, and return to a peaceful place to relax. Plum Creek gives Witte Wonderland the feeling of a cozy neighborhood retreat without being far from the experiences that bring visitors to Central Texas.

What makes this property unique

What makes **Witte Wonderland** unique is its combination of privacy, personality, and full-home conveniences in a cozy apartment setting. Located above our detached three-car garage, the apartment has its own entrance, comfortable bedroom, private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living area, dining/work space, and in-unit washer and dryer—offering much more independence than a traditional guest room or hotel stay.

The colorful artwork, thoughtful décor, comfortable furnishings, and small welcome touches give the space a warm, creative character that guests often describe as a true home away from home. Designated parking and a quiet residential setting make arrivals and everyday stays easy.

Witte Wonderland is located in Kyle’s charming Plum Creek neighborhood, with access to shared outdoor spaces, nearby parks, walking paths, and two community pools, subject to seasonal availability and neighborhood guidelines. Its location also provides convenient access to Austin, San Marcos, Driftwood, Wimberley, New Braunfels, wedding venues, rivers, shopping, dining, and Texas Hill Country attractions.

The property also includes Witte Manor, our separate main home, which may be occupied by other guests. Each rental has its own private indoor space and entrance, while the backyard, BBQ area, breezeway, and patio seating are shared. This thoughtful setup allows guests to enjoy both privacy and welcoming outdoor amenities.
