About the host
Hosted by Brian Tomasello

I first discovered Narragansett, and specifically the Eastward Look neighborhood, soon after entering my freshman year of college at URI. I immediately realized the unique charm of the area - just a short walk to an ocean that has such soft, bright sand. After graduating, I vowed to come back - which I did about decade later after buying my first property in Eastward Look.
Over time, I bought and sold a few homes in this neighborhood, but I always held on to 36 Sakonnet as it was by far my favorite. I love the way the house is angled to face the ocean - with a large deck that allows you to get lost in your thoughts while staring at the water and hearing ocean waves. Pure relaxation.
Narragansett offers something for everyone. There are a number of great seafood restaurants as well as the port of Galilee just minutes away where you can hop on a ferry to discover Block Island.
Now that I'm a father of three, I appreciate the area from a parent's perspective. Exploring tidal pools or walking various paths that hug the ocean are a favorite. Bringing my children for ice cream or heading to Adventureland to play mini-golf, hit balls in the batting cage, ride the bumper boats or race go-carts is also a family tradition. You can also charter a fishing boat or head to Block Island for the day. It's all right here.
For those who don't want to stomach Cape traffic, or pay the Vineyard or Nantucket prices, Narragansett is a hidden treasure.....with 36 Sakonnet being it's crown jewel.

Why they chose this property
The house is perfectly angled to enjoy the sites and sounds of the ocean. Just a couple hundred yards from a beautiful (and relatively quiet section of Scarborough Beach called Black Point), it allows you the flexibility to walk back and forth if you need to take a break or replenish your food or drinks.
Large deck gives you plenty of room to sit back and enjoy the sites and sounds of the ocean! Grill and eat as a family outside. The yard is plenty big for games.
I have decorated the home with a nautical theme. Coupled with it's natural shingled exterior, weathered to a Nantucket gray thanks to the spray of the salt water, it looks and feels like the beautiful coastal New England home that it is.
