Just up the hill from Sunnyside and the Tahoe Park HOA beach, the Talmont neighborhood offers easy access to Paige Meadows and miles of back-country which is popular for hiking/biking in summer and cross country skiing/snowshoeing in winter. Trailheads are within a minute walk from the house.
During the ski season, you are less than twenty minutes to Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, two of the premier Tahoe ski areas. A single lift ticket provides access to both resorts.

Other Polices and Disclosures:
1. Sorry, absolutely no pets at this home. The owner's child has allergies.
2. The last mile up the hill is steep. 4WD vehicles are strongly advised during the winter months to access this home. Chains on non-4WD vehicles are fine.
3. Sorry, no parties. No loud noises after 9pm.
4. We do not have a cable subscription. There is an Apple TV. We hope our guests enjoy their time in the mountains and don't spend much time with TV :)
5. For first-time VRBO guests, sometimes, we request a link to a professional bio (e.g. linked-in profile). And to mutualize this, I will share mine. This goes a long way in ensuring trust. Sometimes, we find we have common connections and this is always fun to find out, and further improves trust.
Placer County requires us to include this information:
1. Permit: STR22-5278. TOT Certificate: 70657
2. "Good Neighbor" polices for short term vacation rentals, including fire, noise, and parking restrictions. You will find copies of this one-page policies in the home, and here is a link to it: https://www.placer.ca.gov/DocumentCenter/View/58384/Placer-Good-Neighbor-Flyer-033022

About the host
Hosted by Sandeep Pannu

We purchased this beautiful second home to create memories with our two kids. They love skiing at Squaw and Alpine, biking and hiking at the trails right next to the house, sailing and swimming in the lake.
For the first few years, we had a luxury management company manage the vacation rental for us. However, we rent our home sparingly (only a few times a year) and it didn't make sense for the agency to manage the home. So we decided to place our home on VRBO.
