About this property

The Palace: Luxury Living the whole family will enjoy! Indoor Swim Spa Hot Tub

Come enjoy Southwest Michigan's awesome beaches many within 12 minutes of a drive. The two main beaches are Silver Beach which is located in St.Joseph and South Beach which is located in South Haven, with many others surrounding the area. Our home is nestled in a quiet setting. Luxury 2 Bedroom a master suite, and (2nd is a open concept room) sleeps 3 with additional space for air mattresses. The East wing has 5 more bedrooms and sleeping areas, along with 3 more bathrooms. Enjoy your own private deck above the pool area. Very private property with plenty of space for the kids to run around. The rental also has a pool table, ping pong, along with basketball hoops. Laundry facilities on site. Pet's under 50 pounds welcome with additional security deposit. There are 2 separate living quarters. Our guests rent the West Wing described above. The East Wing is a totally separate entrance. We occasionally live in a mother in law suite in the Far East side of the property. We usually live on our boat during the summer weekends. We do come home to verify the proper amount of guests checking in, just to be sure it matches the paid amount.
Since the property is approximately 14,000 square feet, we supply cameras throughout the property, so you can monitor your rented areas from your own 36 inch TV. (Some squares are black where there use to be interior cameras.) This is so you always know where your friends and family are. Be sure to monitor your guests while they are swimming. No Lifeguard EVER on duty. VRBO does not allow cameras inside living space. Also, enjoy all your favorite sporting events on a number of different television sets up to 80 inches, even by the pool. New Fall of 2021 a indoor swim spa for year round use. Hang out in spa with partial kitchen in garage, all while looking outside thru glass garage door.

Amazing house for a large group

We stayed for a bachelorette party here and the pictures don’t do the place justice! It is absolutely gorgeous and has everything needed. We enjoy every second of our stay and would recommend to anyone who’s looking to stay in but have endless activities

Beautiful property with nice amenities. I did not understand that the showers and most bedrooms are all upstairs. So if anyone in your group is disabled, they will not be able to shower. There is one bed on the lower level. The host was good to work with. If we stayed in this area again, we would rent. I recommend for family and friends gatherings.

The house was well stocked with all utensils, pots, and pans and spices. There wasn't a dining room table in the main part of the house which made it difficult for a family meals. The beds were comfortable but one bedroom had lots of dog hair on the bed. The pool and hot tub was very nice and refreshing.

This is a beautiful home, however the host is very poor at communication, doesn’t answer phone calls or messages, and multiple things are not functioning. The door does not lock from the outside, rooms are hot even when the air is turned low, no internet or wi fi passwords when asked multiple times, whirlpool I’m bathroom does not work. Pros’s well stocked home, clean inside and out, and very comfortable for our party of 8.

Large property with pool

On the positive side the property is very spacious and has a great outdoor space with a patio and pool. The house is split into a two bedroom apartment with a large party room, separated by the garage from the main house with five more bedrooms. Read the fine print regarding extra charges for 6• people or you will not get the access code. Also whole place feels really cluttered with owners personal effects.

Due to a scheduling error on my part, I needed to change our original date to a different date. Keith was excellent about this. His communication before and during our stay was top-notch. The hot tub and pool are fun. The only thing which I would want to mention to anyone booking in the future is to try to be accurate about how many people are staying. Keith was okay with 17 people staying. Unfortunately, due to issues on our end, only 12 people ended up staying overnight. There is no possibility of a refund. Again, my fault. Also, the listing is not clear, in my opinion, about the fact that the original price includes only SIX PEOPLE. Any more than that, then it is is a certain per night, per person.

Family vacation at the Palace

We had a fantastic time at the Palace. The property is spacious, and we had plenty of room for our family. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the family immensely enjoyed the pool. The water was warm, and the kids were swimming at 9am in the morning. I would highly recommend the Palace as a vacation destination.
