About this property

The Palace: Luxury Living the whole family will enjoy! Indoor Swim Spa Hot Tub

Come enjoy Southwest Michigan's awesome beaches many within 12 minutes of a drive. The two main beaches are Silver Beach which is located in St.Joseph and South Beach which is located in South Haven, with many others surrounding the area. Our home is nestled in a quiet setting. Luxury 2 Bedroom a master suite, and (2nd is a open concept room) sleeps 3 with additional space for air mattresses. The East wing has 5 more bedrooms and sleeping areas, along with 3 more bathrooms. Enjoy your own private deck above the pool area. Very private property with plenty of space for the kids to run around. The rental also has a pool table, ping pong, along with basketball hoops. Laundry facilities on site. Pet's under 50 pounds welcome with additional security deposit. There are 2 separate living quarters. Our guests rent the West Wing described above. The East Wing is a totally separate entrance. We occasionally live in a mother in law suite in the Far East side of the property. We usually live on our boat during the summer weekends. We do come home to verify the proper amount of guests checking in, just to be sure it matches the paid amount.
Since the property is approximately 14,000 square feet, we supply cameras throughout the property, so you can monitor your rented areas from your own 36 inch TV. (Some squares are black where there use to be interior cameras.) This is so you always know where your friends and family are. Be sure to monitor your guests while they are swimming. No Lifeguard EVER on duty. VRBO does not allow cameras inside living space. Also, enjoy all your favorite sporting events on a number of different television sets up to 80 inches, even by the pool. New Fall of 2021 a indoor swim spa for year round use. Hang out in spa with partial kitchen in garage, all while looking outside thru glass garage door.

Keith was very communicative and timely in his replies. His property had lots of fun things for us to do; in-ground pool, hot tub, pool table, arcade games, massage chair. The bathrooms were roomy and clean, the beds are high quality and the two kitchens both had lots of high end quality appliances.

This place is an outstanding value, the amenities you get for the price are incredible. The outdoor pool is beautiful and has lots of seating options around it and it has a deep end that's enough to allow diving. The hot tub is the most amazing one I've ever been in. I'm guessing it could fit 12ppl comfortably. It's a real treat. The host is very communicative and helpful. 2 of the 7 bedrooms are not proper bedrooms with closed doors and are basically in common areas (both right by a kitchen without doors. Overall, a great place to stay.

Perfect property for a multi-generational, muti-family gatherings. The two separate living areas allowed our families with small children to live in one area and the adults in the other. The common area with a large swimming pool and plenty of outdoor eating spaces was well used. The swimming pool, hot tub, pool table, and large selection of game kept everyone busy. We enjoyed it so much, that we plan to come back next year.The host was very responsive when VRBO let me down during the check -in process.

Amazing house for a large group

We stayed for a bachelorette party here and the pictures don’t do the place justice! It is absolutely gorgeous and has everything needed. We enjoy every second of our stay and would recommend to anyone who’s looking to stay in but have endless activities

1 star — Misleading listing, poor communication, neglected maintenanceAfter 30 years of rentals, this was our worst experience yet.Major issue: camera IN the homeListing accuracy: Advertised as 7 bedrooms, but one is really the dining room with a sofa bed/air mattress behind room dividers, and the “open concept” bunk room is a stretch. No beach towels despite the listing implying otherwise (host confirmed none — says they get stolen). Listing mentions a “camera” TV with no instructions on locating it.Cleanliness/maintenance: Pool and hot tub were dirty through nearly a full day of our stay. Two propane fire-pit tables didn’t work; only one got fixed.Communication: Host said he’d come “shortly” at 9:30am to fix the pool/hot tub, didn’t show until 3:30pm — explaining he owns multiple businesses and was busy. When we asked for a partial refund for the lost day, he declined and told us to just leave a bad review. He also missed a call about a shower with 2 inches of standing water; then asked via the app if he could come over with a plunger. Before I could respond, he showed up & walked into the house (no doorbell/hello to warn us).House info: No instructions provided beyond checkout — no WiFi info, no guidance on which door to use, no info on extra towels (had to search closets ourselves).But the inaccurate listing, dismissive attitude when raising concerns & walking into a house with no warning with 8 women renting made this a rental we can’t recommend.

My friends and I had a lovely stay! The house was great, and the pool and amenities were top-notch. Keith, the owner, was a little difficult to get in contact with, but his son was around the property and was able to help. Overall, we had an amazing weekend. Plenty of space for a large group. Warm and inviting interior and plenty of outdoor space with a nice pool. We had a lot of fun as a group and can see ourselves coming back if available

The house was well stocked with all utensils, pots, and pans and spices. There wasn't a dining room table in the main part of the house which made it difficult for a family meals. The beds were comfortable but one bedroom had lots of dog hair on the bed. The pool and hot tub was very nice and refreshing.
