In the heart of the Côte d'Or region, a stone's throw from Alesia (Burgundy), this small castle which offers a remarkable panorama on its authentic village and the surrounding countryside. The flowered garden extends over three levels, crossed by a small water source with a soothing sound. On the first terrace, a large swimming pool (12x4 meters), heated and secured by an electric shutter. The Château des Roches is a real family home, where it is good to be in the living room around the stoves and the big fireplace, the billiard table or the quarter grand piano for an evening. The spacious rooms allow everyone to have their own place to play, listen to music, read quietly or simply do nothing. Pets are welcome. Ping-pong table, Mölky, petanque balls, board games, DVD collection,... the house is made for stays with friends or several generations. Sheets and toilet towels are provided, the beds are made at your arrival. You only have to put your suitcases :).
The village for shopping is 10km away. You will find bakeries, butcher, press, and a big supermarket. A market gardener sells his vegetables nearby, and a baker comes twice a week in a van to the village.
During the cold season, heating during your stay is charged extra, based on the actual consumption of fuel oil (count 50 liters per day).
Please note: the house is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties, because of the steps to access the house and between the different terraces in the garden.
