After 6 years of renovations Pietra Viva has become an authentic cottage. Located on the ground floor of a mansion dating from the 19th century, facing the Le Lirou river, it will welcome you during your holidays at the foot of Pic Saint-Loup. Lovers of nature and well-being, you are 15 minutes from Montpellier. Media library, Museum, hiking circuit, cellar tours, tree climbing, paintball, swimming pool and lake at 7km, beach at 30mn, beds made on arrival, you will be spoiled for choice.
There is a moment for everything in life, we want to ask ourselves, to reflect, to meditate and to recharge our batteries.
Each one is unique, one could make the way to Santiago de Compostela, walk along the Chinese wall or like me to work, reflect, create, transform and realize that there are no rules, but the will.
I wanted to pay tribute to a man who taught me everything and educated me through sharing and working. Each stone that I dusted, reworked was different each time and guided me to be renovated in the most beautiful way. All these ancient materials made almost 200 years ago with hand-forged tools show how talented craftsmen had incomparable expertise. I was the servant of these craftsmen who worked to build this beautiful house. So thank you to them who allow us today to touch and live this beautiful heritage, of iron wood and stone ...

At 10m from the river, the croaking of frogs, the song of birds and the sound of water enchant this peaceful place! 3 minutes from the countryside you can get away on foot or by bike, or stroll through the center of the medieval village where there is a recently renovated museum!
The shops are open until Sunday morning, butcher, bakery, mini-market and tobacco press, allow you to stay permanently! As well as a pharmacy on weekdays.
To park, there is a parking lot, right in front of the house. To move around, the car is a solution for outdoor journeys and to go to town, you can take your car and drive only 10 minutes to the tram station, or take a bus from the gîte to the tram station.
