Sehr ruhig, schönes Haus

Wir waren eine Woche, und wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut (z.B. Waschmaschine), die Lage ist sehr ruhig und ein bisschen abgelegen. Wir wurden am Flughafen abgeholt und dann zum Haus gelotst (ca. 30 Minuten), nochmals vielen Dank für den guten Welcome-Service!

Far from the madding crowd

A great part of the mystery and beauty of Santa Maria resides in its rugged agricultural landscapes. This property offers a chance to immerse yourself in this context in a thoughtfully renovated farmhouse where the breeze off the sea is almost always present and great walking trails start at the end of the lane. Joana and Laurinda are kind and attentive hosts. The property is well equipped and very comfortable (though we would have liked an alternative to the K pod coffee machine, the pods for which seem to be virtually unobtainable in the neighbourhood). The collection of books, maps, and information was very helpful in filling in gaps in our understanding about the island and its history. We're ready to book again!
